Rumour Busted Brent Harvey to Hawthorn

Brent Harvey had the chance to go to Hawthorn in 2007 and he turned it down.

It's bad enough we have no midfield depth going forward (hence why Hawthorn are going heavily after O'Meara and Mitchell) but getting Harvey at is age would be a complete stuff by Hawthorn given we need to go through a rebuilding phase from 2017 onwards and Harvey would take away game-time from one of Hawthorn's younger midfielders.

If he wants a year on the rookie list at minimal wage I'd take him. That would be the only way.
