That's the question. I don't know him or his situation. I don't think anyone here knows that. I just think it would be a fair trade with Lids at a club in premiership contention. I wouldn't begrudge him for winning a flag up there either.

When I started a thread a couple of months ago saying that we should #freelids I was told quite forcefully by some on here to rack off that Lids didn't want to leave at all. How do you know what he wants to do? He might very well be quite content with it.

I don't know if he would be up for it or not. Like I said in this thread I don't know the guy. You'd at least want to explore it before ruling it out however. There are still plenty of players who don't live near their family...If Sam Mitchell this week can go to West Coast....I think it's a very real possibility.
