I stupidly hoped he might have changed in the 12 months or so since I've seen him bowl.

Nope.

Steam in, bowl rubbish, threaten to throw the ball at the batsman, stupid grin.

Like clock work.

I'd say someone who is the first to reply in his own thread, and tries to pick up girls on a football forum, is a bigger w***er.

EDIT: First two replies to his own thread lol.

Yeah Zeke, learn to use the edit option.

The important question is does he get you to want to buy Weet Bix... that is his biggest contribution to Aussie cricket.

Don't think Sanath hit that one, either.

Rubbish gets wickets.
I didn't think he got near it. Really don't want this series to go down the same path as most, the opposition's best batsmen are consistently dismissed by Lee when they aren't out. Strauss, Lara and Tendulkar spring to mind as people who have fallen under this curse.

Oh dear.

Click your heels together, Brett.

Will we get to see the lawn mower? I think it's a certainty.

Agree, the heel click is child like.

I agree with the sentiment, but Jayasuriya at test level is mediocre at best.

Test average above 40 in > 100 tests in still pretty good though. Few better when he gets going.

I don't think he is Sri Lanka's best batsman though, and certainly should never be muttered in the same breath as Lara or Tendulkar.

Did I read somewhere his test average the last few years is below 30?

Oh come on, Lee's antics are comedy gold. How else am I sposed to get a laugh out of Test cricket if he's not behaving like an absolute douche?

Lee's patented head-thrown-back hands-on-head 'oh so close' melodramatic shock when the batsman hasn't gotten close to the ball is the funniest thing in cricket.
