Good.
This guy is so close to clicking but it just never happens.
He’s like a golfer who’s never got all the facets of his game together at once.
One tournament he’ll show up and his driving, iron play, chipping will all be great and his putting lets him down. Next it will be his driving.
Joseph will have his pace up near 150 and be swinging it around corners but can’t land it on the spot. Next series he has control and pace but can’t move the ball a skerrick. Next series he can’t get out of first gear.
He’s athletic and he has glimpses of attitude and he has all these tools that could potentially make him, seriously, the best fast bowler on the planet. He’s not even gotten close to it.

Nice seeing Curran get belted in his last couple of overs too.
Although it doesn’t always work it’s nice seeing my boys commit to an actual style of play; I hate t20 and I don’t believe there are anywhere near the nuances to it that the wankathon commentators have us believe but the WI do seem devoted to building its team around total batting depth, and committing to continuing to attack at all costs unless the situation is just hopeless. As the commentators noted, Russell and Pooran played at 5-69 like you would see a pair playing at 1-69. It’s like it’s a race between runs and wickets.
We were 8-120 or something with five overs to go and Motie slaps his first two balls for 6.
I like it.

England lead 2-0 in the best of 5 T20 Series. By jeez that West Indies attack looks toothless bar Hosein, especially with a tad of slipperiness of rain.

What the actual **** are England doing with Jamie Overton? 6 games as a bowler, only 2 innings bowled so far, returning some pretty damn good figures as well. Yet Buttler decides to throw the ball to Livingstone for a 30 run over before even considering his former county teammate.

No no it’s all part of the plan: keep tossing it to Sam Curran who’s taken 0-166 off 20 overs on the tour so far
Mind you, Curran has actually made runs every time he’s batted this tour.
