er..no he means a very good player ending his career without a Premiership at a duff club.
Err, and what does the term "duff" even mean? Seriously, do you even listen to yourself when you speak? Lol. There have been many an exceptional player that ended their careers without the glory of a premiership. It does not in any way detract from their accomplishments!

Dont know just watching the Queensland politicans pressers they look very very very very very nervous.
Hopefully they get a lid on it before it gets a serious hold ,
Best of luck Queenslanders wish you well
Of course they’re nervous - they’ve talked down to the populations of other states and they have an election coming up.

Typical politicians - happy to take the glory when on offer and when things turn to shit they go missing.

Have a look at our PM.

Do they know where the 77 year old woman at the Detention Centre got it?

Well the most logical reason would be that she got it from those two girls who crossed into QLD illegally a few weeks back. I always thought since that happened that there has been a very low level of community transmission happening. Most of the people that contracted it probably were asymptomatic and probably never got tested. I mean look at the 77 year old lady. She had a mild headache. That was it. Those two girls went to a lot of places over a week, so it was unlikely that QLD got out of that situation unscathed.

Dil will just delay the charade of "the decision" by another week or two.

The fix has been in for a couple of months.

Dil just leading on and thirst trapping WA and SA governments with the lure of a GF but it's going to QLD.

Nothing could be worse for VIC than an Optus Stadium or Adelaide Oval GF because either would be spectacular events that would sell out in 30 minutes. Anything the MCG can do they can do better basically.

If McGowan was offering $35 million he should tear that up now and offer $15 million because either Dil hosts the finals series in WA with an almost iron clad guarantee of not only going ahead but going ahead with fans, to punting that the virus is virtually eliminated again in QLD 5 weeks from now when the finals start.

The great thing about getting community transmission down to zero is that as soon as there are reported new cases, the government can reimpose draconian restrictions.

And most people still haven't woken up to the scam going on here.

Don't worry WA and SA, your time will come soon enough :thumbsu:

I have no idea why any State Government would offer the AFL a cent for the Grand Final.

Because when a State Government does it --- the decision is incredibly popular within the home state & whinged about repeatedly by residents from other states on BigFooty for years on end.

That's really a shitty thing to say

The season should of been canned long ago, footy this year is just farcical really. Has anyone really taken it seriously? And it will also effect 2021 with the late finish too. End it now so 2021 doesn't get effected so much.

It’s already effected. If you think COVID-19 restrictions won’t still be in place to some by April next year you’re dreaming.

Oh my babe in the woods. In WA they call this win, win, win. Destroy heritage, make way for your apartment developer mates profits and relocate to a ground on land near to, and purchased from, your casino owning mates.
A. What heritage was destroyed? The stinking urinals and the firetrap 3 tier stand?

The oval was redone and kept in place. The player dugouts and some seating was kept. The heritage entry gates underwent restoration and was kept. AFL sized goals posts are on the oval. The community now uses the site. The only thing i'm not sure what happened with that was worth keeping was the Sandover Medal Walk pavers. Subicao-oval-Bob-Hawke-College.jpg

B. A school was built in Kitchener Park next to the oval. Those apartment developer mates are making a killing from it.

C. Optus Stadium is no closer to Crown Burswood than Docklands is to the Crown in Vic.
Not sure you have noticed but there isn't stadium sized pockets of land readily available near the Perth CBD. The only options were Subiaco Oval or Kitchener Park next door, East Perth Power Station area - which was a joke as it was a tiny site and finally Burswood Golf Course.
Look at the pic below, good luck fitting Optus Stadium over in East Perth.

If this Corona business kicks off in Queensland over the next couple of weeks then the AFL have 2 choices:

1. Rush through the finals series - no bye round, limited breaks between games, little to no crowd presence in the stadiums, etc. Premier crowned within 2 weeks and everyone bails.

2. They move the whole base of operations to WA or SA. At this stage WA would probably be the favourite.

This could really throw a spanner in the works.
