Brisbane vs Manly

Myself, Eagles_4_Eva and clucas_91 (from BigFooty) last night ventured to ANZ for Broncos/Eagles.

What is wrong with the Eagles defence?
It is weak as p*ss. So many gaps. The Bronco players were just pushing off the Eagle players than scoring. The scoreboard was not really a refelction of the match in my opinion. Brisbane scored three of the luckiest tries in NRL history. More arse than class.

But bloody hell, they are a strong unit and will go very far in the league this year.

Manly are pretty good in attack, but terrible in defence. If they can fix that up, they will be a top 8 side.

Yes the Manly defence was terrible last night. It has been a problem all year, but it will help when we get Shipway back.

How about the tries they scored? The "falcon" one was a classic!!

I thought we were looking good when we got back to 18-12. Didn't get a lookin after that though...

... because they have half the Queensland side on their list.

All of those who say that there is not enought talent to go around for 16 teams are wrong. If the Broncos were made to let go some of the QLD players there would be plenty.

The SE Queensland Crushers were supposed to solve that little problem, but they went the way of the Gold Coast Seagulls, another attempt to dilute the depth of the Broncos.
