Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Jesus Christ I'm getting a little excited about my Pendles/Pies $611-1 multi now.

Yeah nice one mate :thumbsu:
How much did you have on it??

I dont think theres any harm in putting a little on a double at the start of the year, as it looks as if you have done. If anything it adds some added interest to your punting year.
Next year:
Adelaide / J Selwood: $10 @ 1000ish :p

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

He's going to be so much value in the Most Team Votes markets, as well. As long as Swan keeps doing what he's doing Pendles price won't drop much.

How many votes do people actually have Pendlebury on? Even after his 3 votes tonight I still have him 4-5 votes behind Swan. I just can't see him topping Swan to be honest.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Went to the game tonight.

I saw it as

3-Cloke
2-Pendles
1-Blair

I reckon Blair will get the one as he was in and under all night and there were some plays where he took the bombers players on which would have really caught the umpires eyes tonight. Also helps he kicked 2 goals.

Swan would be behind him IMO.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

What betting agency takes Brownlow into Premiership muiltis, i am with betfair i dont think they do them do they? Anyone know if betfair can do them, where are you putting these muiltis on?

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

I haven't seen the stats but I really rated wellinghams game. Flashy with clean disposal and some good hard ball gets. Let's hope the bookies rated swans game though.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Swanny is going well tonight once again BK. are you a bit nervous/ annoyed? can't you have a Swan/ pies plonk to cover your listed bets?
must be 6 or 7 /1 odds still.
I hit the Swan - Coll double pretty hard 10 mins before last night's game.

I was wrapped to see Pendlebury play so well after getting on him during the week at crazy odds/
3. Pendlebury
2. Cloke
1. Swan maybe but I reckon he will miss and they will lob the 1 vote to someone else

I slept beautifully last night after pendlebury's game. 5 medal chances only now I reckon - Swan, Hodge, Hayes, Judd and Pendlebury.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

I got on pendles too after your bets..very happy I have $10 on pendles/cats to make gf and others at juicy odds

Very nice, im going to wait until the season is over for Swan cant see him going any less than $3, hopefully he will blow to $5-6. ATM i have bets on pendles/hodge/hayes/judd and a few bucks on selwood (not much but enough to breakeven if he comes in) Best result is Hayes gets up for me.

Going to both the Carl/Rich + WBD/Geel games today will post my results when i get home (Y). Should be a good game the latter, ready to lose BK?:p

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

What's everyone reckon about Didak, i believe he has a chance to poll in 9 - 10 games where he has been influential. I know Swan has had a belter again but he polled ordinary last year. Pendles will poll well but i believe Didak runs with it more and stands out. Hodge has to be around the money with Ablett. St Kilda look too even Hayes, Goddard, Dal Santo and Montagna all similar?

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Guys I dont have a TAB sportsbet account...

Do you still think I would be able to be able to bet on the Brownlow, and put on team multis eventually, at a NSW TAB???

You'll be fine mate, of course you will be able to, just more work for you :thumbsu:. Could always just make one?

Not a chance imho, you've been reading into GL article to much. Swan/Pendles would be streets ahead. I do hope didak/thomas poll well though to take votes off swan. Ablett has had a worse season than last year + umpires go much harder the following year on the brownlow, Ablett would have to snag a 3 or 2 tonight to be any chance, he will have me scared though as he will most likely be the R11 Leader although im liking odds on Judd to be R11 leader on betfair @ $17.

Re: Brownlow Medal 2010

Found this Link in the thread the other day, people were saying how they worked for sportsbet etc and were trying to "influence the odds" at the time i didnt think so however, ive looked at all resources i can find and this looks really dodgy:

http://www.phantombrownlowmedal.com.au/player/gary-ablett-jnr Abletts count is 15 yet in R17 vs the lions when he kicked 5 goals they havnt included any votes in his tally, YET on the Round 17 report they gave him the 3? http://www.phantombrownlowmedal.com.au/votes/2906. I take that tally with a grain of salt personally but its just interesting.

Not saying the site has hidden agendas but after all the controversity in the earlier pages for those using the tally i wouldnt read into it to much.

hmm?

I like all of these thoughts very much.. however I'd be very very reluctant to write off ablett and selwood just yet...

We're all talking up each others bets, surely Cloke would pull 3 votes from last night. Pendles / Swan from there.

Cloke - 16 marks, 5 goals, 22 touches... on top all night.

I would be pretty suprised if cloke got 3. Pendles was absolutely electric.. cloke got a lot of the ball. But its not like he was the only one, the ball just kept getting in there, all the big pies forwards had a lot of opportunities. I don't know if Blair will necessarily get votes but it should be

3. Pendles
2. Cloke
1. Blair

For the record i'm not on pendles for the brownlow. Just find it hard to go past his game last night. and probably will get on him now
