This.

You wont receive your card for a few weeks but im fairly sure they give you some kind of paperwork so you can still collect winnings without your card until yours turns up. You can always fill your account with cash at outlets so there is no need for credit cards. I wish i didnt have a credit card sometimes :thumbsu:.

Why not just go into the TAB outlet and fill out the betting cards there???

Am i the only one disappointed with the team votes odds? seems to have all gone down ALOT, Goodes into $1.83? he wont even poll from the weekend.. he was $2.20 last week and Bolton/Jack had really good games. He should have blown out to $2.60ish.

I loaded up on it on Friday.

did you also do pendles/geelong because they wouldnt take any money on that either.

I just did selwood and pendlebury today so far im going for pendles, judd, hayes (unlikely) and judd.

Also with the group votes and head to head did they come out after the most team votes last year?

I can't be really bothered to figure this out.

What would be more profitable?

Player X into Collingwood, and into Geelong.

Or

Player X into Gee/Coll Quinella.

Currently, using Centrebet, Geelong is $2.65, Collingwood $2.85, and the quinella is $2.65.

Scrap that, Centrebet won't allow multi into Quinella.

He could poll 1 but yes I thought he would go out for sure.... They probably just realised he was too long and fixed it.

Its not just goodes though mate, was using his an an example.
Watson down 10 cents in a 27 point loss where he played very ordinary a few other big movers as well. Wasnt Pendles $5.50 last week? now $3.10 :(

S Thompson only down from $1.70 to $1.65 and is sure to pick up 1 maybe 2 votes in that game so thats pretty good. Voldt only down 10 cents to in a game where he will poll 2-3.

It makes sense though - one less game for players to overtake Watson, so his price comes in.

.

Watson was moved in last week before the weekend's matches I'm fairly sure his price hasn't changed over the course of the weekend

In what rounds do everyone have selwood polling. i have ablett and chapman stealing votes off him in his good games. But if ablett doesnt poll well he could easily be up there.

Pretty sure he firmed from $1.95 to $1.85 last week and then $1.75 when they reopened today, at least that was the impression i was under although your probally right mate.

@ Mike go back about 3 pages me/twarby/BK all posted what rounds we have him polling in.

Don't know the last time you looked at the market mate, but Watson was 1.77 at lunchtime yesterday. So he has only shortened 2c, probably due to no bombers posing any threat to his potential lead he holds at Essendon.

Havn't checked the odds since Friday, cheers for that.

My advice is to walk into a TAB outlet or pub/club and ask to open an account. You will need 100 points ID. Give them cash over the counter to put into your account

I dont have a CC, so fund my betting accounts using POLI, which tabsportsbet doesn't offer...

So, would it be worthwhile going to the TAB outlet and asking to make an account, even though I will probably only be using it for the Brownlow?? If they do not offer most team votes multis next year the only other time I see that I would use the account is for Brownlow/Premiership multis if they keep allowing them in the coming years. By making an account is it easier? Do you just use the touch screens instead of filling out the betting cards, or what?

from the looks of the most recent leaderboards montagna seems to be alot higher for most than i currently have him on..
could people please give a breakdown to his votes.. as i only have him on 12 (only gave him the 1 on saturday, but even a 3 would only have him on 14 by book.)

Is it possible to print out a list of bets and get the guy behind the counter to do it?

When I was 17 I printed out 5-6 Multis I wanted done, gave it to a friend who gave it to the guy behind the counter to do.

Could do this for 50-60 multis or was the guy just being nice?

If you were to go to the TAB once you had an account it would be exactly the same as not having an account as far as placing bets go.

The benefit of having an account, particularly in regards to the Brownlow, is that you can log in online at home and make all your bets.

When you're doing a large amount of multi's it is incredibly tiresome filling out all of the cards at the TAB and much easier to do so online, so having an account is definitely a better option.

If you don't have a credit card just go to a TAB, fill out the form to create your account and give them cash to put into your account.

It doesn't matter at all if you're not going to use it much after the Brownlow. I initially signed up for an account specifically for the Brownlow a couple of years ago and then didn't use it again for 8 or 9 months.

Oh ok, I was under the impression that you would need a credit card to make bets online. Makes me wonder why most people dont just do this then, as most people have Internet these days, and is much more convenient than going down to the TAB every time to make a bet.

Also, how do withdrawals work with this method. Would you be able to withdraw at home as you would with an ordinary account you have funded, or have to physically go down to the TAB to collect you winnings? And do you just go back down to you local TAB to fund your account by handing over some cash again the next time you want to use it?

I think after round 22 I will head down and hand over a couple of hundred dollars, set up the account, and make the bets online at home. Thought it would get a bit tedious and frustrating having to fill out like 30-50 multis, so this is a much better option.

Rd 15 - 3

Yeah, I was thinking of printing out my list of bets with the 4 digit tabsportsbet codes and just do it there. But I think this idea of just handing over some cash, making an account and doing your bets online, especially if you are putting on the amount of multis that you, and I, plan to do :thumbsu:

The only way to deposit money to your account online is via credit card but if you have money in your account already (i.e - Going to a TAB and putting cash into your account) you're good.

You have a few options. You can get a cheque, direct deposit into your bank account, etc. You don't have to go down there and collect.

Yes, you could just go back down there and put cash in any time you wanted more money in there. You can put cash into your TAB account at any TAB you visit.

Cheers mate :thumbsu:
