Just finished watching this weeks games, not that straightforward a voting week at all:

Melb / Ess

3. McKenzie
2. Gysbert
1. Trengrove / Rivers / Scully

(can easily swap the 3 and 2 here, I will be weighting with 2.5 each)

Geel / WBD

3. Ottens (lock)
2. Selwood
1. Bartel / SJ

Coll / St.K

3. Pendles (based on voting history in addition to a great game)
2. Shaw
1. Thomas

Bris / Syd

3. Bolton (lock)
1.5. Goodes / O'Keefe (I found them impossible to split)

WC / GC

3. Ablett
2. Cox (order of first 2 simply based on voting history over winning team benefit)
1. Raffle (Lecras, Hurn, Rischitelli, Priddis)

Port / Carl

3. Judd

(just kidding, habit sorry)

3. Walker
2. Murphy
1. Robinson / Yarran

NM / Adel

3. Swallow (lock)
2. Goldstein
1. Ziebell / Petrie (need to check umpires preference for mid/forward)

Haw / Freo

2.5 Mitchell / Riolo (impossible to split accurately for mine but definitely the 3 and 2)
1. Osbourne / Broughton

I found this week pretty difficult, anyone else want to share / discuss any glaring differences there may be?

Agree with you on that mate, pretty tough week this week.
Had a pretty busy weekend so didn't get around to seeing as many games as i would of liked.... But for the games i did watch:

MELB v ESS
3. J.Gysberts
2. J.McKenzie
1. B.Moloney

HAWKS v FREO
3. C.Rioli
2. S.Mitchell
1. J.Roughead

CARL v PORT
3. C.Yarran
2. A.Walker
1. M.Robinson

Will try to watch a couple more games if i get time during the week and let you know what i come up with... The thread seems to have died off a bit since the start of the year be good if it got up and going again.

What's everyones opinion on Pendles so far this year??

He voted very well in some games last year where I thought he wouldn't even get one vote. This year he has been very consistent with his output.Any chance he could be near the top at this time of the year??

Spot on mate, he polled very well last year and could well do the same this year. I currently have him on 11 votes after giving him the three on the weekend.
Have him with votes:
Round 2 : 3 votes
Round 5 : 3 votes
Round 10 : 2 votes
Round 11 : 3 votes

As well as possible (4th or 5th in line) votes in Rounds 4, 6, and 9. Although he is probably unlikely to get votes in these games, the games that I do have him polling in I am pretty confident that he will be getting either 2 or 3 votes. If he can pull a sneaky vote in the other games as well then hes a good chance to be at the top of the table at this stage.

For comparison's sake, I've got:
Round 2: 3 votes
Round 5: 3 votes
Round 9: 1 vote
Round 10: 2 votes
Round 11: 3 votes

With the possibility of a vote in round 4.

No worries fellas, I've got him on 9 votes as well rather than 10 sorry about that, but anyway, looking back i've given him some votes in the bulldogs game when GC got smashed so i may have to have another look at that game, but apart from that I'm confident that he'll poll in the other 3 games.
I've got him polling
Round 3: 2 votes (Questionable, GC got pumped but from memory he had about 34 disposals and was one of the more noticeable players on the ground, as the Dogs were more even accross the board)
Round 5: 2 votes (Knocked off Port, really got them up and going and over the line)
Round 8: 3 votes (Gave him 3 over Dangerfield, toss up between these two)
Round 11: 2 votes (Chance for the 3, toss up between him and Cox)

So i guess if you take out the Bulldogs game he'd be on 7, same as you RB...

Yeah I don't have him polling in that game against WB. I'll rewatch the game and see if my votes change.

You don't think Boak would have got the 3 in there win against the Tigers!!?

leading possie getter, 15 contested, 10 tackles and a goal.

Last year shows he polls very well and in the guts under the umps eyes the whole game

thats were i would give the 3 in that match

Port have won 2 games so not sure how 4 players could have 3 votes each? but i spose stranger things have heppened

The rest look on the money to me!

I think this year it will be pretty straight forward picking the team leaders following the players form from here on in.

WC, Freo, Tigers (like always), Port being the tricky ones, but also thats were the value will be.

Last yr i anchored 7 players in all bets and i can see the same able to be done.

Love the 2nd half of the season

Yeah good point, have most likely over-rated a few of Port Adelaide's performances. Here are the votes anyway that I have.

Round 4 v Adelaide:
3. Rodan
2. Westhoff
1. Chaplin

Round 7 v Hawthorn:
3. Mitchell
2. Chaplin
1. Shiels

Round 10 v Richmond
3. Brogan
2. Boak
1. Westhoff

That's where the 3 votes for Brogan, Westhoff, Rodan and Chaplin come from

Sorry my mistake - Boak is also on 3 votes for me - forgot to include that in. :)

Any big differences with anyone elses team leaders?

I have pendlebury leading, thomas still a little of unknown with polling. Has been good but so has pendles and he has the runs on the board.
Also have Chaplin on 4, Boak on 3. Not many votes in total for port so was suprised to see some have multiples of them on 3.
Dal Santo leading from Goddard just. Goddard has never been an umpires favourite.
Suprised to see you have Boyd on 5. I have him on 9. Very good in there wins, proven poller and no one else standing up.
Would be very very very surprised if Bolton is leading Goodes. Just my thoughts. Looking forward to end of year.

thomas, did not poll well last year, pendles has polled well last 2 yrs, hitting 3s and 2s. the umpires would look to him as an easy pick, he is noticeable, and a dominant player, unique. votes may be stolen from him tho, considering the formidable pies.he robbed dane swan last year, meaning he can get 2s and 1s at random

thomas hasnt a history of good poll totals, but after a pretty good grandfinal, he is talked about, and his head and celebrations would get noticed a bit more. last year was probs his best, making him seem more than a kid. the umpires will be likely to chuck him a few votes, if not robbing pendles of his votes.

but honestly, having a general talk about these guys, youd probably pick pendlebury over thomas most times.

here are my club leaders

Adelaide- S.Thompson- 9
Brisbane- S.Black 7
Carlton- M.Murphy -14 (leading my count)
Collingwood- S.Pendlebury 13
Essendon- J.Watson 12
Fremantle- Mundy+Fyfe- 9
Geelong- J.Selwood 13
Gold Coast- G.Ablett- 8
Hawthorn- L.Franklin- 12
Melbourne- B.Moloney 13
North Melbourne- A.Swallow 8
Port Adelaide- T.Chaplin 4
Richmond- Martin+Deledio-6
St Kilda- N.Dalsanto-5
Sydney- Bolton+Goodes-10
West Coast- D.Cox-10
Western Bulldogs- M.Boyd-9

ATM looks like a good mix of locks and unpredictable teams. Richmond, St Kilda and Port have been the hardest teams to judge thus far IMO

Can somebody please give me their Freo Stkilda and Adelaide Brisbane votes? I missed those games cheers.

A tough game last night. I've got -

3-Boyd
2-McEvoy
1-Steven

Thoughts?
