Of the non-favourites, who do you think is a chance to finish top 5?

I reckon Dal Santo could win it, definite chance for top 5.
Cameron Bruce and Sam Mitchell will poll a few votes. Also Johncock and Didak should get votes.

Peter Bell is ineligible but may get a few also.

For my (admittedly biased) mind, Ryan O’keef would be a good one to get on. Played very well all year for the swans.
Outside of the Swans, Scott Lucas will poll well, and wont have many teammates taking votes from him…

That's surely the best 400:1 shot ever.

Led the comp for kicks, 8th in disposals at 25.5 a game. Averaged just under 4 tackles a game and booted 15 goals. Brisbane only winning 7 from 22 will prevent him from winning, but he should still poll well.
 
With Chewy's odds Riewodlt ($26), Dal Santo ($26), Pavlich ($31), Burgoyne ($61), McDonald ($126), Johnstone ($201), K Cornes ($201), S Black ($251), L Power ($401) are all good value bets.

Power had a good consistent season, but of those 7 wins, Brown was outstanding in 4 of them and will get the 2 at least and probably the 3 in say 3 of those 4 wins I would think.

Power might poll 12 or 14 votes at best, but he can't possibly poll the 20+ required to win the medal.

I can't see anyone beyond about 30/1 featuring at all. The only exception might be Bruce who had one of those years where he had 6 or 7 outstanding games along with several quieter games. If he snares the 2 or 3 in most of those 7 games he could be a good roughie.

I think it could be a dramatic count because most of the faves had a good last fortnight leaving the count open to a late swing. Goodes will be in the votes in both the last 2 rounds, Johnson should get votes for round 22 as should West, Goodwin and Edwards are both good chances to poll in the last 2 rounds as is Dal Santo and Judd would be a chance in round 22.
