Lehrmann was scheduled to front the Toowoomba Magistrates Court for rape charges in October. It's November with no word on why his trial has been delayed. An obvious reason why might be his appeal being allowed to proceed on the decision on his Federal Court defamation trial but that has not been confirmed. So we wait.

The truism that 'justice is served best if it is served swiftly' ignored yet again to serve the interests of the alleged offender in a criminal trial. No such delays placed on civil trials associated with this heinous (alleged) crime of course.

Meanwhile, a twitter thread on the alleged cover up of the Lehrmann rape of Brittany Higgins in Parliament House has been updated:

There I was thinking it was fishy that Saunders and Tunningley just happened to arrive at PH ten minutes after Higgins left and it was actually less than five minutes.

Moving on. At approx. 10.03am, Brittany leaves the building. At exactly 10.07am, Leanne Tunningley and Cate Saunders coincidentally arrive together, just 5 or so minutes after Brittany’s departure. How they both managed to time their arrival almost immediately after Brittany finally exiting the building is anybody’s guess, but a cynical person might even suggest they were hanging around waiting for her to leave, especially given they’d agreed back in their 8.30am phone call to go to Parliament House themselves.
