Yes.

13 and 14 were different tours.

Between night 2 and 3 in 13 there were 17 different songs played.

That's fantastic. I love it when artists play a lot of different material from night to night.

When the Stones came out in 1995, they did a similar thing at their two Melbourne shows.
 
Wasn’t it Born in the USA at AAMI the first night and then Born to Run night 2 in 2014?
I got BTR. It was great but because BIUSA was my first album as an impressionable 14 year old I was a bit disappointed. I bought the recording instead. Can’t believe it’s 10 years. Fml

An announcement with dates and ticket dates can't be too far away if they're planning for February.

I went to March 26th 2013 and he opened with Badlands... he did a lot of sign requests on that tour which mixed it up a bit. Cadillac Ranch, Downbound Train, Red Headed Woman & Rosalita were all sign requests.

Yeah I've got my doubts.

Gundinski's son and others at Mushroom/Frontier wont take the risks Michael did with his 2013, 2014 and 2017 tours.

I don't think there is any other concert promoters in Oz who are prepared to risk it.

Money. Landau likes a lot up front for Bruce, plus with a 17 piece band, those costs are huge compared to a 5 piece band.

Bruce wont necessarily sell out his concerts here.

Kevin Jacobsen reportedly lost well over $5mil on the 2003 tour. Bruce got piss off with him as he started to penny pinch.

It took Gudinski to work his magic, as he loved Bruce, to make 2013 work financially and they came back within 12 months because Gudinski did such a good job looking after Bruce / the E Street Band / his crew and management. And Gudinski did the 2017 tour as well, which didn't go as well as 2013 and 2014 tours.


If you watched the Ego: The Michael Gudinski story doco - you would have seen John Landau say that he saw Michael get into some very dark places. Landau didn't elaborate, but I am sure he was talking about money pressure.

I'm genuinely surprised at this. I thought he would sell out within hours.

Then again with such a large band, the ticket pieces would be excessive.
