The Fremantle Football Club BigFooty Buddy Draft 2013

As we draw closer to the 2013 draft, it is time for the 8th edition of the Freo BigFooty Draft for 2013.

This thread is for registering of interest in participating in the Freo BF Buddy Draft 2013 - all details including rules / draft order will be released as we get closer to the start date.

For the users that haven't been invloved before, the Buddy system is when you get to pick a "buddy" at Freo and it is up to you to defend that person when they are underperforming or gloat when they are doing well. Once again we will make Coaches and Club Officials a part of the list to select from. RTB and Kirky might go early in the draft!

The closing date for nomination for the Draft 2013 is 15th December 2012 which gives all posters the a month to register and be involved for 2013.

After the participants have been finalised, a Draft Order (randomly selected through www.random.org) and a list of the rules of participation will be posted in a new thread.

Register your interest by posting in this thread and I will add your name to the OP.

I'll keep this thread stickied and updated until we have finalised our player list in early December so we know how many selections available.

Yeah I'm in. Can I just suggest that as your buddy it's very cool if you can go watch your player in the WAFL (if they are not injured or in the main team) and give first hand reports of how they are getting on. Gets you out to a few games you mightn't see normally and supports the WAFL too. I have travelled to many a suburban ground and watched games I wouldn't have otherwise. Gees I used to go watch Sibbo in the ressies, and spent many a game waiting for Houghton to get a kick! Fyfe not so much

Pitt will be a first rounder, bank on it. I plan to tank in the random draft to get a lower pick, thus ensuring I am left with little more than the unloved SHBF - previous year's this has netted me Duffield and Forster.

I'm willing to trade down draft positions if I need to.
