Maybe we should say you get a day on the clock and if you miss out you go to the end of the list. Waiting around is going to take too long and there are people who are going away, me included.

1 day on the clock, anyone got an issue with that?
 
BP hasn't been online since the 30th, and has had 2 days to pick, so he can take his pick when he comes on next.... in order to keep things moving.

I like my roughies, and i seeing as i took a big interest in the kids and the U18 champs this year i am going to select the guy i think could be the absolute steal of the '06 draft, Clinton Benjamin, i just hope they don't stick him in the Ants reserves. :rolleyes:

As long as we finish before pre-season matches commence.

I'm going away tomorrow & returning Sunday 7th Jan, anyone who relegates me to the bottom of the list is a dead man.

He was on 2 nights ago so not sure why he didn't pick then :confused:

Perhaps we should skip him and he can take his whenever he decides to?

Im off for 2 weeks folks, heading to New Zealand. If my pick comes up when I'm away i'd like Joe Anderson if he's still around. Otherwise, Bluegal take the next best available for me please.

Hi All,

I think we need a bit of leadership with this.

Ideally starting tomorrow morning (Tuesday 10am - 9th January) you have 24 hours to make your player choice.

I'm happy or perhaps others could as well, PM the person whose pick it is.
If they dont respond by Wednesday 10am, & so on..... their pick reverts to a pass & they get to chose at the end of the entire round (i.e. pick 30, then passes in order).

Let me know if this sounds reasonable, I'm more than happy to oversee it, or even give this task over to Sublime who initiated the thread.

So all being well, tomorrow at 10am we send a PM to inthesong (26), the next day ClayBlue87 (23) & so on, bearing in mind that if you expect to be away, you could nominate a player or players or another poster to chose for you as has been mentioned earlier.

If this isnt suitable, let me know.

Most people probably know but I don't, what does PM'd actually mean.

Also how do you know when someone logged on last.

I have been all for giving people time due to holidays, but if he logged on and didn't take his pick then we should proceed to next person.

A PM is a private message. Click on the person's username and select private message to PM someone. To check last log on, go to the person's user profile, and it'll say last activity. inthesong hasn't been on since the 6th.

I have chosen Jordan Russell for my buddy draft selection. J.R. was one of the most talked about players during our trade period and off-season. As a top-10 draft pick, he was almost traded / stolen from us by Port Adelaide, but the Carlton Board stood strong and showed great faith in the youngster.

Did not show much in the 2006 season playing off half-back flank or as a defender. Almost has a whipping boy reputation. However startedto show some good form in the 2nd towards the end of the season. Has muscled up and looks to have improved his overall strength. Should play the majority of the 2007 season either as a smaller defender, HBF or off the bench. I look forward to witnessing his improvement.
