Hello guys and girls.
Can someone tell me how Hargrave is going?.
Will we see him in the same role last year that saw his DT scored drop?

Thankyou for your time!

He will play the same role he has played for the last 5 or so seasons but is currently injured and porbably won't be getting his usual scores until mid season. Don't get him yet.

He's still injured. The paper said about 5-7 weeks but he has not had a preseason. Avoid him as I have doubts that he'll be able to return to his 2009 form.

Hi guys...Callan Ward, are those impressive SC figures in the preseason a good indicator of where he is at?

I'm tossing up between him or Daniel Cross. If I go with him i'll look at using the $$ saved from Cross to upgrade another midfielder or backman.

Thoughts?

In this scenario Ward is a solid choice.

You'd think so Werewolf but then again, Cross was our highest scoring SC player last year by quite some margin. What he lacks in kicking ability, he makes up for with contested possessions, clearances, tackles, even hitouts to advantage as third man up.

G'day

What are the chances of DJ getting consistent games? Where would he be playing. Forward or through the guts?

Thankyou.

He would be pretty close to playing this week and I guess like all players on the fringe his performances will determine how many games he gets.

He will play a forward & midfield role.

I've got Zephaniah Skinner as one of my budget options in Dreamteam and I'm curious to know whether he'll be a starter for round 1?

When I watched him down at your intra-club match a month or so back and he got the crowd gasping, and I heard he snagged 4 in the NAB Challenge, but is he ready?

Thanks mate, he looks too risky for me especially considering he'll be fighting with Veszpremi and Hill.

What are your thoughts on Wood? I keep reading that he's meant to be the replacement for Harbrow but his NAB scores were far from appetising. I know NAB isn't everything but it is worrying. What do you see him averaging over the year?

Not much more than last year.

At his price it's tempting, but I don't think he will be a huge scorer.... Might be handy as a cash cow.

Hey guys, do you think Markovic will play the first 5 games or so?
Or is he out when Lake and Gilbee are back?

Libba named on the ball is a surprise. Your injury list isn't HUGE either. See him holding his spot for 8 - 10 games?

I think that's a fair chance of happening now that he's been named in the side. We're not missing anyone in our midfield so it's just a question of form or whether he will be subbed out (I don't think this will happen though)

Will be out when Lake gets back. Gilbee should have no bearing on his position in the team.

Whilst I'm pretty sure you are right Ant, wouldn't it be a nice problem if Marcovic consistently played at a good AFL standard? Lake could then sometimes be played as the swing man, who each game could be freed up to play power forward or the Nick Maxwell role down back.

Agreed, I would love Marcovic to stand up. See what happens hey?

Gday, I came here looking for info on Libba as well.

The fact that he's named to start on the ground, and on the ball, I would take with a grain of salt. Don't let it influence your decision too much. With team sheets, rotations, the sub rule and God knows what else, I'm not sure it carries too much significance.
