The only embarrassment is you as a supporter. But that is debate that u actually are. I can easy count 3 goals via 50m penalties or frees that were there. That takes the margin down to 20points, a much tighter margin. He’s teaching these players the modern game after noble who was an administrator and had no game plan. Half our side has played less than 50 games, immature vs sides more experienced. Need to be patient or go support someone else.

We can winge and moan but Clarko has a few more premierships than most of us, so he gets the time to identify how the group can and should play/be supplemented. In 2 years we’ll see if it was all in service of a worthwhile grand plan, or just a coach past their use by date flailing around without answers. He deserves time before we judge, as well as recognition that very little of what is being said and done internally will be repeated/explained externally. That’s not how it works anymore.

Sometimes following a footy side just requires patience. We can vent about what we disagree with, but it’s all shouting into the void.

Make it work Clarko; most of us still believe.

Has it occured to you numptie doomers that perhaps Clarko/Viney are getting a good look at everyone on the list this year (hence the selection of Stephenson over Ford) rather than going balls out to win every game? I, too, would much rather see Ford in the side, but you do realise tanking is a far cry from giving players possibly on their last chance a run in the seniors against comparable opposition to see how they go? Just a thought..

I reckon he gets a 'pass' for this year, first full season without the whole racism row hanging over him. Next year if we don't see players buying into the gameplan, and continuing selections of non-performing players, then I think it'd be time to start considering options of moving on. That would be two full seasons for him to implement a gameplan and see firsthand what he is working with, including a few drafts he'd have key inputs to
