Classic Caulfield, all of a sudden out of nowhere turns into a swoopers track and they peel about 6 horses off the rail leaving P.Ensign and Pompeii as sitting ducks.

I thought Miss Finland was disappointing, considering really did have the run of the race, was also a little disappointed with Pompeii Ruler, didn't go on with it. However in saying that, El was fantastic, great ride by Ollie, but just a class horse, and looking forward to seeing more of Marasco, there are definately some black type races that will see him in the winners stall, by years end!

I am, and ive made my view on Gauci quite clear, his rides on both THe big El and Rubijon have been substandard at best.....

MF although dissapointing, although did keep on and only missed third by a neck, in no way did she disgrace herself...

Why would it get worse, i got to see a great run from a horse which i havent seen all that often due to the time difference..... Hopefully it stays on the East Coast and goes on with it... One to follow for sure...

Exactly right Seth, if he was ridden by anyone besides D Gauci in the CP he would have won as they would of ridden him harder and won the race.

Today was a great ride by Ollie, wish he had have been on board Cox Plate day!

im not in a bad mood mate, ive lost money but not nearly as much as i have before....

Im a big follow of Magic Instinct, and so too ar emany on this board who followed it last prep, but at the distance it wasnt a shot clear as that....

lol, Churchill downs just didnt race at his best, Magic Instinct did but at the distance is no good...
