Camberwell might have a coach in trouble after his disgraceful bailing up of an umpire at the end of the game.

We got more free kicks boys, because we were first to the footy and werent hangouts.

Thought there was a maternity ward at oc's box. Never heard so much crying in my life.

What's the beef, TT? You won by 12 goals. Is there something in it? If not, try and be a man and cop the win properly without sledging the losers.

Anybody know the scores at monash/ oeg ??

Monash beat OGs 63-46.

AJAX we're good today at Fitzroy. Blew us out of it in the first half and while we came back in the 3rd it was too little too late. Won by 7 goals or so in the end.

Your probably right, but I'm sure the oc coach will regret his actions.

The emphasis placed on the umpires was ridiculous, there was valid reason werribee got more frees.

There were a few times were players from both sides didn't dispose of the ball and were called play on, and there is probably a legitimate complaint there.

The ruckman didnt learn with the sheparding though, and camberwells mouths cost them countless times.

Very impressed with the tiges. 5 games - 5 wins.

You might need to get your facts straight here TT. Wasn't the coach but an irate player who fired up over comments made by the umpire to another player. All in all good win to the tigers and hopefully many more to come.

Bottom line, TT, you have comprehensively defeated a prominent C grade team in your first game by no less than 12 goals - congratulations.
Surely the umpire's call did not affect the outcome with that sort of final score.
My advice is to focus on the positives and forget the negatives of the vanquished. It almost sounds like you are whingeing after a shellacking.
It looks like Werribee are going to be a force this year. Give us a few of the standouts in your team rather than worrying about what the losers did.

So the coach steaming in the umpires face and being dragged away by a player was a figment of my imagination?

May have been a reaction to the above incident which i did not see.

Just report what I saw, and how I interrupted it. I may have only a seen a portion of the event!

Any news on Matty Dean? How did he pull up after that big hit in the wet?

He'll be sore but fine for next week. Fair bump but the laughing and carrying on from the other scum bag player whilst he was down wasn't.

Careful panda, criticizing the opposition is apparently taboo on here nowadays!

I was prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt, TT, but you're a ********, pure and simple. The trouble with you Werribee fanatics is that you are not fanatical, you are demented. Don't take a win with grace - continue to bag and discredit the opposition relentlessly. I suspect you don't get your thrills from winning but from bagging. That is very sad.

stop crying mate ffs. What a complete overreaction.

Unfortunately, Besanko, you have a limited capacity of undertsanding also.
I could suggest limits in other capacities but I shall refrain, with great effort.
I am not crying. I have nothing to cry about.
I am not overreacting because I have nothing to overreact about.
I WAS making an observation about someone who I was suggesting may be focussing too much on a destroyed opposition than his team who had won convincingly. I would suggest that you read (if you can) the previous posts.
If you can't then let me know.

You are fish number 1 for the year.

Welcome to the barrel.

Hahaha

Whilst the incident with a supporter who was helping the coaching staff out during the game (we were a bit light on for helpers being away for week 1) was regrettable and unjustifiable, it will be dealt with by the VAFA as required.

No OC coaches were involved and any suggestion is simply untrue.

What is true is that the Bees are even stronger than I anticipated. I expected they would make finals in 2011, but based on what I saw yesterday (with 8 or 9 premiership players running around in the curtain-raiser and 3 VFL listed lads tearing us a new one), they're probably going to be the section's yard-stick. At least I hope so, becuase if there are several sides better than them, we're a fair way off the pace!

At least for us, we can work on several things which Werribee showed us before the season gets too old. Better to lose and learn than to lose and not understand why.

Happy Days at Soldiers with our boys going 2 goals better than my prediction!
Mosquito fleet had a field day and our taller defenders were great.

GOI - ease up you gutless shyte stirrer, BF is harmless fun, and you are a proven liar.

Scribe, I apologize for suggesting that it was a coach, but as he charged over from that general direction, it can be excused why we thought I was a member of the coaching staff.

Wellers have some BIG boys & rusling was quiet, so they will get better.

Trev's take - Round 1

Wild Prediction 1 - Werribee at home are 12 goals better than any one else in C section so get used to the idea. Hence OC might still be the 2nd best side so don't worry yet. Away from home a pass mark will be if you get within 6 goals of them. This is based on watching Werribee last year very closely (too closely - let's be honest) and spending most of the past 10 years watching C grade.

For those interested in hearing about anything else the Monash v Old Essendon game was tight all day and of course the usual wind at Monash. Most there thought Monash were gone with only 1 goal at half time from numerous futile moves forward. At 3/4 time it was 1 point the difference and Essendon going to the scoring end. Monash switched into over-drive in the last quarter and we were all pretty happy with the ticker displayed. OE had an interesting style of play where they really held the ball up and played 'tempo' footy which might work better when there is less wind as they have several very good marking players. Maybe just their plan on a windy day - who knows?

How come everyone is saying that werribee have a lot a top young players??? Why is there no mention of fitzroys up and comers??? fitzroy did beat them in the under 19s finals last year yes? Normally you have a better side if you win a grand final dont you???

Werribee's top young players didn't play in that U19s final because they're already playing seniors, or coming back from higher/suburban leagues.

Most of the graduating U19 players played in our 2nds and 3rds sides on the weekend. Maybe they have to work harder to get into our seniors side that Fitzroy's do?

Daniel Riosa never played juniors. He has been playing seniors from the age of 13. I mean look at him, he is ****ing huge!!!
