No the one that didnt make the footy show and in fact it only got out well after it happened.

The Footy Show is not an official AFL product, and as such is not obliged to run any stories that it does not deem to be newsworthy for whatever reason.

If you watch the Footy Show for your AFL news content, you'll be sorely disappointed regularly.

I believe the media release was available within 24 hours. Do you expect club presidents to hold live press conferences within hours of any 'incident'?

FFS.
The one for the young player who was out of control in Geelong at the 21st was, the one earlier in the year wasnt!

In the end my point is and was there has been more off field incidents involving players from some other clubs than there has been for the Bomber players but you seemed to have missed that ;)

my mate was outside the nightclub and he got a quick photo

It gives you a longer reach, so obviously easier to land punches, ever tried fighting someone that much taller than you.

Wrong on all counts again Mantis.

The only thing you can garuntee to happen is no mention of this incident by Ed this Thursday.

What a F***ing hero, it is really hard for a guy 193cms to beat up a guy who is only 179cms, real even match, but guess that's the reason Tarrant took him on.

Oh......so being taller makes you a better fighter......gee wiz now I understand why Tyson was so good...

you idiot

My major concern is that Chris Tarrant was out with a group of ESSENDON players. Where were his Collingwood mates, why wasn't he with them?

well i heard (can't confirm this one) that tarrant was at a collingwood function on saturday night and got kicked out at 10.00 for being off his face... he's obviously given soloman a call and gone and caught up with him and his essendon team mates...

Why confused ? The players don’t have the same attachment to the clubs that supporters have. Why would they ? They don’t play for the club they supported, they are all chosen from the same pool of talent – they all know each other, some share accomodation and have brothers playing with other clubs, they are likely to be traded off to another club at any given time and they can get more money from the next club they end up at. Don’t get too down on Johnson. He could be at Collingwood next year.

When Tarrant was on Talking Footy a few months back he said he didn't follow anyone particularly and watched Essendon games as a few of his mates play with us.

Michael Warner and Michael Horan

After security broke up the initial scuffle, Tarrant landed a heavy hit that sent the Bomber crashing to the floor.

'.

Cheap Shot, Please dont tell me Tarrant took a swing after security broke up the scuffle. Pretty weak if he did.

To the idiot talking about height, does that mean that when ever MJ belts someone from behind or drops his knees into them they arent allowed to fight back because he is short? You ********ing idiot

WTF are you on about? you are talking about playing a game of football, when this thread is about 2 guys involved in a fight after they have had too much grog, obviously you aren't capable of telling the difference.

No not really, MJ is a little prick who probably acts like that outside football, cheap shots people and thinks he can get away from it

If you talk about having had to much grog, then as if you know the height of someone when your ********ed, only they did something to ******** you off and payback is a must

Either way Tazza gave MJ what he deserved and height means ******** all

According to todays herald sun, MJ intervened in a friendly wrestle between Jacobs and Tarrant. What an idiot, deserved to be smashed for sticking his nose in where it isnt welcome
Actaully, no he didn't deserve to be 'smashed' I bet if it was reverse you would have a very different view on this.

Tazza wouldnt get involved in something that doesnt involve him. He deserves everything he gets. Going against Hird's warnings, no wonder he is trouble. Cant do something Hirdy tells you not to

You dont let up on your hatred of all things red and black - no matter what it is. If MJ had died in it I bet you'd find somewhere in your cold body to say he deserved it.

Dont you understand how stupid some of your anti-Essendon comments are. They are not rational, nor are they constructive. They are crap!

Come on people - yet to hear any "facts" that can be substantiated so let's not get carried away one way or another. A couple of blokes beating the crap out of each other anywhere is not worth the air-time... Either party may be to blame and the reality is we may not ever know which one.

The BIGGER issue here is why clubs tolerate their players out on the turps mid-season - let alone in the run up to the finals. Smacks of unprofessional conduct on all sides IMHO....

GGG.

Of course you know both Tarrant and Mark personally and understand their personalities. You know exactly what they are like and how they react in certain situations.

I'm almost certain that Danny Jacobs wasn't there so you can dismiss that previous rumour.

And also remember Mark Johnson has a Best and Fairest and a Premiership Medal to his name.
Chris Tarrant has achieved NOTHING!
