The thing is guys is that frawley is with us to the end of the season. Like it or lump it. We will win and lose this season so get used to it. After last fridays win i thought this is it we finally have the potential to make the 8. But what a week of footy can do. We now stand at 1 from 1. As we were last year. Its a big game in 10 days time vs the saints but i think that we will have a better side to choose from. With only fiora being injured and the hacks. I wanna see blumfield back next week.

Spuds here for the rest of the year. If we sacked him now we have sweet **** all chance of getting anyone decent. If coaches see that soon as the team plays poorly they get the boot what is the likely hood of getting a decent coach if Spud does go. So put up or shut up. Simple Melbourne played very good football like we did last week. Collingwood had no chance last week like we did last night. No plan B is going to work when the other team comes out fired up and ready to play like Melbourne did. They had their backs against the wall like we did the week before. So cop it on the chin stop crying like a bunch of little pussies. If you can't watch them lose then you don't deserve to watch them win. If you can't hack it support another club. It’s only bloody round 2.

GO Tigers

Agree 100%. I didn't mean in anyway to take anything away from Melbourne. Further to my comment, I think the problem was there before Spud and to the extent that it now seems to be part of the Richmond make-up. I just had the feeling that they would still be living in the euphoria of the previous week take Melbourne lightly and would perform accordingly.

How old are you OXX? Cause I'm 21 and I haven’t seen a Premiership yet but yet I don't cry like you do every time we lose. You have seen the good times. The best I have is and old VHS tape of our last GF win. So bloody shut up! Be grateful cause allot of us young people have nothing except VHS tapes to remind us of how good we were. You have memories! Get behind the team you ungrateful old man. I would do anything to see the tigers win another GF. You older people should remember what sort of examples you are setting for the younger supporters. This eat our own mentality has to STOP NOW!

Where is Wayne Brittain????

You here from Crocker & Hutchison all the time.

Is he keeping a low profile, waiting conspicuously in the backgroung?????

The classic interim coach I have ever seen.

LMAO@Old man.
I guess 32 is,huh?
WTF!!!

Mate,Im all for the"Young people" but what you have to get
your head around is the fact that us sour, oldies were
once like you - Full of faith and expectation.

Fast forward to 2004 - Get the picture.

Lifes short junior and to idly sit by and wait patiently
isn't something i subscribe to.
Do you?
Not judging by the fire in your belly.

EAT EM ALIVE - Now thats history.

You so called supporters are full of it. One loss with a side full of a passengers and no committment and You wanna sack the coach. The palyers did not put in against the demons and that was reflected in the score. Tiger fans stop killing our club by all your negativity and lack of support. We want success but we also need stability. If you cant handle that then swap clubs. we don't need you.

why do i support this club when my fellow supporters are made up mostly of idiots and buffoons.

1. free speech - we can say what we like, if you don't like it, take a hike to china or cuba.

2. we won one game last week, and many of you were all excited (how unusual) about the great season ahead - one game in march does not mean september action.

3. we didn't just lose - we got caned, by melbourne of all clubs.

4. spud has demonstrated that he cannot coach consistently in the past. nothing has changed.

top 4 & prelim action, anything less then give him the boot. if looks like we're not getting anywhere close, cut him loose early. 2 1/2 f*ked up seasons would sound better for him then 3. i'm giving him a chance to perform.

next week is absolutely crucial, in the last two yeasr a bad loss has snowballed into a run of 6+ losses that kill the season.

How they respend will show us if the players are any good and if danny ahs the ability to get a team up again, whihc has not been apparent during his reign

end of the day, we lost 4 pts, its how we rebound from it that is more important

my only issue with spud last night was why was brown in the forward pocket for most of the second quarter when we were getting belted in the midfield???? browny had 8 posses in the first quarter but spent most of the time in the pocket ofr the second.

too many receivers last night the team was a disgrace.

OXX I bloody hate losing as well but sacking the coach is not going to help now. We have to and I mean have to follow through with Spuds contract even if you guys don't like it. Think of it this way if you were anyone of the big coaches and you had the chance to go to say the Demons or the Tigers who would you pick? Would you go to the club that constantly sacks there coach and supporters are wanting your head every time you lose. Or would you go to the demons where they honor their contracts and their supporters aren’t constantly asking for your head. If Spud doesn’t make it this season then I agree we need a new coach but put up with him till the end of the season. If you guys want the likes of Sheedy, Harvey and the others to even contemplate coming to Richmond you have to honor Spuds contract and show them that things are changing down at the club. Otherwise we will be talking about how our second rate coach is screwing our team in 4 years time. Its simple put up with spud till the end of the season win a few games and if he doesn’t perform we look for and get a better coach. Fire him in the next week or so we lose nearly every game and won't get **** in the way of coaches. So what do you want?

I admire your fresh approach to an old matter.

You present a good argument but there are just too many
flaws in the frawley administration for me to not feel justified in
voicing my concerns.

He'll see the year out and hopefully we'll snare a coach
and coaching panel who are able to counter-attack on match day
but it still doesn't change the fact.

Under spud we flounder.

Well, the Bummers lost convincingly again. If we hold onto Spud for a few more weeks, Sheeds may become available. ;)

5 years that bloody dud has had to build a side and what has he achieved?
Its an absolute disgrace that our sides form can turn so much in 7 days.
To be flogged by a rabble like melbourne, with a full strength side, is an absolute joke.
The buck stops with Frawley.
Stkilda will absolutely cane us next week and it would be appropriate that Spudly coaches his last game against his old club.

I thought oxx you were a teenager like me. I was interested in you before, but not now your an old guy. The way you write had me convinsed you were young. I still luv the way you treat everyone like sh1t.

This time it's not a hasty call to 'sack the coach'

He has had five years, and still makes basic errors, can't get his message accross to the players, and if we do play well, it's only because we tackle alot.

What about skill, positioning, plans and a playing system?

Five years is a long time to give him warm up time. This is no hasty call to sack. It is a well tested conclusion after four years of thought.

If we want more than 25,000 members, and a strong financial position, we can only do this with a new and good coach. This is not just about satisfying our need for victory any more. It is about generating a strong club to stop us from folding under massive debt.

All those people who want to keep frawley, how exactly do you think he is going to help the club SURVIVE?

Nice one jail bate.

You don't understand do you Drekker. We have to show the prospective coach's out there that things are changing down at punt road. **** the rest of the year, what RFC does in the next month will tell us if we get a decent coach or not next year. Sack Spud and where ****ed I promise you that cause no decent coach will want to come near RFC. Coach’s want to know for certain that where going to honor their contracts before they sign. Not even an idiot would sign if we sacked Spud 3 weeks in. This will be judgment day mark my words and by god I hope that board of ours holds fast and honors spuds contract cause I don't want to be in the same **** boat next year. Put up with him and stop asking for his head. THINK ABOUT IT!

I don't think anyone disagrees with what you say drekker. I think the point that differs is the timing. There is no point sacking Spud now. It will not achieve a thing and will most likely be detrimental. We should be going after an 'A' list coach next year and he will only seriously consider us if we can show him that his contract will be respected.
