Everyone...

I need to remind you all. Don't speak much tomorrow, save the vocals for the game. I will also be bringing and would advise to bring a few Strepsils to the game. So I can keep going even when it get's tough, hopefully the Freo lads will do the same!

Pacing yourself is important too, no good burning yourself out by quarter time. A lesson I never seem to learn.

Sorry to interrupt. The dockers are my 2nd side (notice my name) but you guys need to throw everything at McCarthy. Dont leave anything to chance. Offer him 5 years at 800k a year. When I read you were interested in Leuenberger I was like WTF! You already have plenty of ruckmen. You need a FWD! You probably need TWO.

Not the right thread for this, we have one on Cam already if you feel like scrolling down. But yes, we certainly do.

On topic, thought we did all we could tonight. Mental crowd, and I can't wait until the new stadium is finished and we get to see that on a larger scale.

Most of us did.

A few drunken knobbies trying to be part of the action is not on.

Yeah. Bit sad a one or two dead set campaigners lost the plot.

Overall though, the crowd were ripping good. Absolutely gave their all. Unfortunately for us, the Hawks were well prepared after their trip over earlier and it probably lacked the punch it otherwise would have had.

And back to crowd behaviour, I need to say a big thank you to the people I ended up sitting next to. Top people. Respectful, knowledgeable and passionately loud. Loved it. The knobs will always get the attention, but the majority, and certainly where I sat, were gold. :thumbsu:

Don't want to tar everyone with the same brush as I know big footy subscribers are a reasonable bunch, but I think the AFL will have a serious look at the crowd behaviour last night. That kind of stuff is just not on.

And what are they going to do that isn't already been done?

There were some out and out dickheads last night but on a whole the majority of supporters were great and even had a shot at the people who were playing up.

So dissapointing it had no impact on the game. Never heard it louder myself.

Instead of getting home town umpiring we got screwed. Instead of intimidating mitchell and hodge they dominated....

I was there when suckling was taking his shot after the 3/4 time siren. So much noise at him, he was kicking from outside 50m on an angle and he just nailed it, ice cold.

Feels like nothing an no one was on our side.

You mean the guy that threw the imaginary spear? It wasn't real, couldn't do any damage, what was Smith afraid of? etc.
