Slider just means taken below where they were generally rated by consensus, not necessarily where a phantom draft had them going. First round sliders are almost always better because they're a product of clubs reaching for needs, or picking up unknown players they randomly rated higher than anyone else
In the second and third rounds, when most clubs have had 1 or 2 cracks at players, the sliders tend to switch from "we were lucky this guy got through" to "there's a reason this guy was still available". Our first round sliders have worked out incredibly well, but we've had some misses on the sliders in the second and third rounds for this reason
