Now the 127th highest rated player of players to play more than 5 games in 2024 is Cam Rayner. This places Rayner at about 7th best in an average team and rising.

Gawn, Petracca, Viney, Bullen, Pickett the only Melbourne players to rate higher. No sign of Barely Avfritsch and even less sign of Chuck Spargo & Harold Petty from the 2017 draft.

Rayner will be rolling up danster's infamous rolling list of 2017 draftees. Just slide him up to 15th rated player from the 2017 draft for now danster thanks, with a bullet. ;)

danster168 is getting very nervous.

lol. no-one cares about your hocus pocus player rating stats. Like you just discredited your hocus pocus rankings system by even mentioning Fritsch instantly lol.

Is this the breakout year you promised me?

I’m just sad Morris wasn’t taken in the 2016 draft. Would mean Fritzo is even further away from cracking the top 30.
Charlie Cameron- 186 goals the last 4 years.
Fritsch - 179

Elite marksman. The only difference is Cameron kicks 3 in granny's. Fritta kicks 6 :)

I think you jumped in a Time Machine mate. The Fritsch trolls ended once he kicked 50 goals a season for fun and made the AA squad. Maybe focus on Cam Rayner not getting delisted :)

Take away Charlie’s goals, and the margin changes by 450%.

Do the same for Frittata, and it changes by approx 50%.

Therefore, Charlie had 9 times more impact. The numbers don’t lie.

But this thread isn’t about Charlie, and this is simply a deflection. You have realised if your boy Cam scores 96+ supercoach points this week, he will have surpassed any season average produced by banana Fritter - thus cementing himself as the far superior player - and probably in the top 5 of his draft, or something.

I don't disagree. Fritsch is 1 thing and 1 thing only. A goal kicking machine with one of the most deadly shots for goal in the afl. I'll live with that :)

Oof. You mozzed him Danny. Banana fritter 1 and 4. The mighty dees could have used those 5 goals today.

9 touches and no score for Petty as well. Not a good week for Dansters pets

At this stage it would be more of a shock if he did get a goal. I saw him take a set shot from 35 out today and it didn’t even make the distance. Should have taken the two firsts!

Yeah not a good day today. But even your Federer's miss the odd backhand :)

Unfortunately the Melbourne board looks like they're discussing trading Banana Fritter this year before his value drops away next year and he is dropped to the VFL and ultimately traded for a 3rd rounder. Their words not mine. Tough to see.

You really have to wonder whether the Dees board supporters know their footy hey Danny.

He actually put his body on the line a bit today which isn't an aspect of his game that he's noted for. He played ok. COuld've kicked 5. but ended with 1.4.

lol. Are they also going to trade Petracca for a 3rd rounder using the same logic? :) But no doubt Melbourne are at the start of a long rebuild. So it'll be interesting to see if they gut the list. I think they'll have to start with Oliver. He either gets into shape or they trade him and pay for his salary. Amateur 'experts' are claiming it's because we don't have Lever or because we lost Brayshaw etc. But in reality, when one of the best players in the comp becomes a B grader due to having no pre-season and does God knows what in the off-season then that's a 4 goal worse team. Just my personal opinion.

Why aren't the Dees playing Ben Brown, Josh Schache or new recruit Tom Fullarton up forward, Danny? Petty is now statistically the worst tall forward in the league. Why do they keep persisting, it doesn't make sense.

They keep persisting because we have Ben Brown, Schache and Fullerton waiting in the wings.
