Frittata kicks 1.4, 17 touches at 52%, 1 contested mark, 10 pressure acts, 2 tackles:

Rayner kicks 1.3, 13 touches at 53%, 2 contested marks, 9 pressure acts, 1 tackle:

I am starting to think Danster might be Melbourne’s very own Duritz… 🤔
Dude, why don't you pick some of buddy Franklin's bad games and compare Rayner to Buddy :)

Fritsch kicks 50 goals a year for fun, made an AA squad, and 6 in a granny. What has Rayner done?

Rayner wouldn't get a game at 10 teams. he's our Tom Sparrow and that's being generous.

the point being..? he should get credit for kicking a 30m goal directly in front?

No. Players should be shamed for missing the goal, not getting credit for kicking them.

He kicked 2 goals. not accepting 3.
I actually agree with you. Fritsch only actually kicked 2 in that grand final. Joe the Goose goals shouldn’t count.

haha. may want to watch the replay again mate. didn't kick 1 Joe the goose.

2nd in the norm Smith voting versus Rayner getting the Leon David medal for worst on ground in a granny. And Brisbane took Rayner before Fritsch 🤣

How does it feel knowing that if you tool Fritsch, you would've won the flag by 4 goals 😀 A real sliding doors moment for Brisbane fans :)

Danny, I have to do a preview for the Brisbane v Melbourne game in a few weeks. Do you have any tips for me?

well Melbourne are cooked. Brisbane should win easily. Probably by 45-60. Lever will be back but he'll make no difference. No petracca obviously. Melbourne's decline is due to Oliver's decline. it's no coincidence.

Neal-Bullen will go to Neale I think.

Thanks Danny. Do you think Oliver could be good by then though? At the moment he looks very unfit but that could change. My concern for the Dees is Gawn. Every week he has a new bandage somewhere on his body, I hope he can stay fit and in good shape.

I watched pre-season training and when he finally returned to the group I honestly didn't think he'd be playing until after the bye. I think people judging him probably have no concept of just how far back he is coming from. He's still carrying too much weight though.

Gawn is fit and firing. He's fine. I don't think Gawm has been too banged. up has he?

Are you deliberately missing the point?

Two performances that were statistically VERY similar.

Frittata: “he played okay”

Rayner: “one of the worst on the ground”

I’m talking about these two ratings you provided, nothing else.

Why the disparity, do you think?

I've noticed a couple of bandages the last month or so.

stkilda are the 2nd worst team in the afl...if not the worst.

should've just been called back

No they shouldn’t have. You only call a player back on the mark if their momentum takes them over. If a player cuts the mark from the opposite direction it is never the correct decision to call them back.

Windhager messed up, not the umpire. That clip would be used at training sessions to show exactly what you should call for fifty metres.

Has there ever been a player kick 6 in a GF and not get the Norm? Everyone knows Fritter is a chip scab, sounds like you agree too. Let’s give him 3 goals for the GF then. That seems fair.

lol that's AA squad member to you.

But honestly, how does it feel to know that had you have picked Fritsch over Rayner in thr 2017 draft, you'd be reigning premiers right now. Ouch!

Are you saying that banana fritter is now no.1 pick in your rankings Danny!

Rayner thus far: 14.6 touches, 3.3 marks, 0.8 goals, 3.4 tackles.

God has predicted his averages yet again.

Danny, I'm going to dedicate my Melbourne preview for next week to you. Such is your wisdom, God.

Thank you kindly.

I want it to be known that in no way shape or form, does a good Cam Rayner game reverse the damage that he has already done. For Cam Rayner to prove me wrong I need to see a 30 possession, 6 goal game. Nothing less.

Cursed it now he'll do it next week vs your team
haha, but let's be honest, Rayner would get the worst defender in the opposition each week. 2 main defenders would go to Daniher and Hipwood. best small defender (McVee) would go to Charlie Cameron. 2nd best small defender (Rivers) would go to Zac Bailey. So then it comes down to does the 5th or 6th defender go to Rayner of Ah Chee. So that's the scary thing about Rayner this year. He's doing all of this with no-one on him.
