Come off it. You've really failed to notice the typical game of footy in 2018 having a total of 10-15 goals kicked?
Collingwood have kicked 100 points in 7 of our 13 games.

You are stuck watching Carlton too much. Carlton stack the backline to prevent being belted, so they scrap their way to 50-60 and keeping their opposition to about 80 is a ‘good result’.

It is horrible footy.

with Treloar out, things are about to get very interesting

Unlike Richmond we do not rely on one player to win games! Trelor is a big loss but we still have Sidebottom, Pendles, Phillips, adams and degoey in the midfield. With Varcoe, Elliot and Moore not too far away we will be fine.

We will do enough to finish 5-8.

Looking at the draw you would think the ladder after round 23 will be;

1.sydney
2. Richmond
3. Port Adelaide (easy draw)
4. West Coast
5. Geelong
6. Collingwood
7. Hawthorn
8. Melbourne

If Collingwood lost Grundy who is our most important player then we are trouble. Our forward line is doing well and our defence is workman like.

Still expecting to win between 14-15 games this year.

No. They have got steadily worse over each of the past few years and have improved somewhat over recent weeks. Not quite the same thing.

Collingwood is a very, very long way from warranting mention in that company.[/QUOTE]

Not really. Still some improvement obviously, however, they are heading in the right direction playing attractive footy. They go out playing to win.

As for the blues, as we saw on the weekend, they go out to limit how much they lose by. That’s why so many kids have changed teams.

You go to Auskick these days and it’s staggering the lack of Carlton footy tops. I have a couple of ex- Carlton premiership player mates who have sons that wear Collingwood and Richmond jumpers.

That’s not true unless you take the overly simplistic view of ladder position, in which case you would also have to accept that we’re moving in the right direction now given we sit in the top four, no?

No. An unexpected but by no means fanciful loss this week and you're a game and percentage outside the 8 with three consecutive danger games to come.

Got to love how fast Pies supporters pump up the tires to bursting point though.

LoL.

Yeah we lose to the Suns and Hawthorn, North, Geelong, Melbourne and Port all win and we might slip to 9th.

However, if we beat Suns comfortably and Sydney lose to Richmond and the Eagles lose to Adelaide...Pies will be second!

Much more likely we are 2nd on Sunday night than 9th.

How long has it been since Carlton were potentially talking top2 at R15?

We're finally seeing some success, so we'll pump them a bit.
Your mob on the other hand, will be pulled over to the side of the road, with a broken jack, trying to fix four flat and bald tyres for the next 3 or 4 years at least. In addition to the last 15 or so.

Sorry mate, I'm not as footy savvy as yourself...who's the ONE Richmond player that won us the flag and has now got us sitting on top of the ladder?

Just so I'm aware of the other 21 no name list fillers running around in Tiger jumpers every week.

Cheers.

No dusty no Richmond
Granted it was a one off, I was astounded at how quickly Richmond dropped away without Martin.

I had a massive plunge on the Tigers at $2.30 that night, and now I understand they were those odds for a reason. Never in the hunt against a side who are on the edge of the eight.

My bad...I thought the tiges were on top of the ladder.
