Can we beat North next week?

I'd say we can, but we'll need Lewis, Sewell, Gilham and Campbell to bring the experience we need back into the side. All a matter of putting tonights game behind us and focussing solely on next weeks match

Of course we can, but even if we dont I'm not gonna get too down hearted about it.
If we are 5-5 after 10 rounds and our players are fit by then we will still give it a shake.

Can we beat them? Ofcourse we can. Won't be an easy game again but we need to be positive. Hopefully we get Rob Campbell back! Get in first to the ball and give 'em nothing!

Yep I reckon we can beat them. Round 3 is about the time I expected some of the injured players to come in. I think Gilham, Sewell & Campbell will definitely play, not sure about Lewis I think he will be back in Round 4. The boys will be hungry to win after losing the first 2 matches.

Go Hawks!

No, and we'll lose the following week to Port.
But don't worry we'll start to win from round 5 (West Coast) onwards, and our odds for the Premiership should be pretty good:D

we beat them this time last year, but we didn't have the injuries.North seem to lift against us.They have a tall forward line which won't help us.I'll back 'em with my heart

I say yes we can!! If and only if Tuck Sewell Gilham and Campbell are the minimum inclusions for next week..outs..Kennedy Thorp Morton and Whitecross.
I like the look of Moss good skills composed and hard at it..Schoey also very composed, coming along nicely..!Keep those 2 in..Be a great challenge for our blokes to overcome a bogey team!! lets hope we got the hunger to do so..:thumbsu:

Yes.

Should get Lewis, Campbell and Sewell back. Give the boys a rest.

Franklin,Hodge,Bateman and Mitchell looked tired last night... and possibly a bit sore.

Going in with 2 losses stright is not the way to start.

Is McGlynn (excuse spelling) injured>??

well it depends if we dont get our premiership players back like sewell taylor croad gillam lewis and the rest if we play like saturday night we wot win.

Hopefully they loose some key players. Would Taylor be available next week? If Campbell doesnt come up and Taylor is still suspended trust me we have no hope!!

And seriously how could we afford to play Roughie and Franklin in the ruck? That was very risky!

Hawks struggle to beat North with a full list of players, let alone the team that we have available at the moment.

Unless we get the likes of Sewel, Gilham and Lewis, at the very least, then we really don't stand a chance unless the Hawks pull out something special.

Hope I'm wrong!

roos are behind at moment
And that's an even worse scenario. Whenever they lose the week before they play us, they get together, talk about that "shine boner" spirit, whatever that is, I am sick of hearing it actually, and usually beat us. I am hoping they would win today, although I tipped the dogs..
It hurts to say this, looking at the next month ahead,we COULD be 0-6, and that would be disastrous..Our injuries, and the lethargy shown last night by some of our senior players, was not a good sign.
I think Geelong were very tired too yesterday, it was a tough game for both teams last week..
