Richmond/Carlton give options for VC - at this stage I only have K.Simpson so will go with him I think. Obviously Dusty a good option for those who have him.

I don't currently have any blues or Tiges to VC so i will be going in with Tom Mitchell as captain. Would need a big VC score to consider not going Titch anyway.
177 and 135 against the Pies last year, and from memory he averaged 130+ on the MCG. He is going massive round 1!

Would have to be Titch. Although a punt on say a Buddy might not be the worst idea.Yeah Titch is locked in for me!
Titch has to be the safest. But there are a few players who could outscore him

Titch against Collingwood is hard to go past. VC on Caddy for lack of any better loophole options.

I think will be #1 DEF. Besides not many other common Richmond/Blues players to VC this week I don't think right?

With over 50% of teams having Mitchell in their side, probably 99% of them will have the C on him. Its too temping to have another player as Captain. If Mitchell has a mediocre game, it would give you a great start to the season having someone else captain over half the other teams playing. I understand it could backfire just as much, but would be great to watch Titch put out a 80 while Having the C on someone else.
With him being the obvious choice. Who would you have next? Merrett and Neale are two i think could outplay him even if he does fire.

If you arent going to put the C on titch in R1, i wouldnt start with him. If you are predicting an 80, he is going to plummet in price and you could pick him up in R3 for considerably less - now that would get you off to a flier!
Neale away worries me as a C choice, i will probably start with him as a regular. I am big on Buddy!

Yeah I currently Don't have Mitchell in. And i wouldn't say Im predicting an 80, but just the mass of people who would have him Captain would give a great boost to start the season not having him. But as i said, huge chance to back fire aswell. I agree with Buddy, I think Sydney may do a number on West Coast in round one and Buddy could go huge.
I'm struggling to see myself start with a Richmond/Carlton player so I don't think I'll have anyone to try loopholing.
Even if I did have Dusty you'd be wanting him to pump out a monster score to keep it, Titch could again go massive against Collingwood.

2 rippers and 2 stinkers from Dusty to start 2017. Interesting to note that ALL bar 1 game in which he Dusty went under 100 were against teams that didn't make the top 8, in the regular season.

Titch’s game is receiving a lot of attention in the media. And now Scott has said that he will “have a match-up” and receive “plenty of attention.” Is anyone concerned? VC loop hole becomes really important this week and I’d probably take a score of 120 from the VC.
