Is Derek Humphrey Smith serious? What do others think?

We was rooted IMO. He has picked one Deliberate decision and turned it into the reason we won.

No mention of the dodgy decisions against Shaw (X2) and Walker.

I was there Saturday and hate both teams equally.

Carlton got the worst deal from the umpires by an absolute mile.

Whether it would have changed the result of the game is doubtful.

Both teams were probably worse than the overall umpiring IMO.

i thought there were plenty of shiity calls both ways and some clearly missed both ways, but from watching on telly i thought calrton got the rub of the green from the umpires.

felt the pies were generally a bit stiff but it started to even up towards the end.

blues got a better run

and i'm a carlton supporter

I was a neutral supporter at the game and i thought collingwood clearly got the rough end of the stick. The 3rd was the most disgraceful umpiring ive seen. Carlton got 3 goals from free kicks and then collingwood got 1 very soft one. So carlton were 2 goals up thanks to the umps.
Seriously if those 3 umpires get a game this week what does that say? To me it says that gieschen is happy with their performance, so we will have to put up with the same rubbish this week.

correct...good post

I feel the vomit coming out from the edge of my throat as I type this but I think Collingwood were treated appallingly by the umps, esp in the 1st half, mind you Carlton got jibbed in the 3rd quarter, but overall, The Pies got a worse deal in one of the most disgraceful umpiring performances I've seen in a long time.

I think this post has just ended the thread. Why would a carlton supporter ever say they got the lucky umpiring decisions unless they actually did.

Thread Over

Frees inside 50- Carlton 8, Collingwood 0.

Free Kicks Carlton 29, Collingwood 18.

I've given reasons for my opinions would you like to give reasons for yours?

Where free kicks are paid is irrelevant...if they're there they must be paid

Total free kicks can be misleading and to assume that both teams have to finish with the same amount is just being ignorant

How many beers did you have?

The free quick count was 29-17 in favour of Carlscum, that's almost equivalent to have an extra player on the ground.

Why make a poll will collingwood in it?
People will automatically vote against collingwood simply because they hate them and are obsessed

8 of those free kicks were results of Rhys shaw and co kicking the ball out of bounds on the full .
since when do free kicks given have to be even ??? only a moron would think they should
