I'm still trying to get my head around this - perhaps make a note to oneself ( don't get on the internet when pissed )
Maybe start with something simpler and work your way up?

Its a win win situation for the Blues this weekend.

If we win we get to waltz into the grand final knowing we'll either come up against a valiant and deserving GWS team who we all respect or a cocky and physically weak team led by the Peroxide Bellend who sharts his dacks every time he comes up against a half decent key forward which would basically be a free win.

If we lose we get to watch Brisbane and Charlie Cameron further embarrass the peanuts who were in the AA thread waffling on about Quaynors impeccable 1 on 1 work despite already being dominated by Charlie twice this season. Tom Mitchell and his Seagull padawan vs Lachie Neale and Dunkley...Should be a training drill for the Lions, I reckon it could easily be a 150+ point win.

Would be nice for us to make it to the big dance but the boys look pretty banged up and we still have a few holes to fill in the off season before reloading in 2024 still with Curnow, Weitering, Cripps, Walsh, Cerra etc in their primes. Meanwhile the old Wobblers are about to lose half their best 22 to the local retirement residencies and will no doubt be sooking about Ginnivan still not being paid any free kicks as they fall back down the ladder in coming years.

Aaaand here come the excuses 🙈
Excuses for what? Stating facts isn't an excuse. We're vsing the best team in the competition this week at a stadium they haven't lost at all year and we have 3 blokes whos shoulders are hanging on by a thread, Captain looks like the Michellin man with the amount of padding he's got on his broken ribs and one of our KPF's coming back from a concussion in the biggest game of his career after a year battling the yips.

We'll go out there and give it our best crack but we'd be lucky to beat them at full health on a good day at the GABBA, beating them under the circumstances we face this weekend would take a miracle. Stranger things have happened though and I'm certain Crazy Vossy will have them fired up and ready for war.

Either way the Lions should smoke whichever team wins on Friday night and if the Blues by some miracle get up then they should easily dispatch the Seagull Squad and Kiera Knightley.
