It's hard to say because different clubs list differently. Some just have line coaches others include their VFL, development and/or academy leaders etc.

I doubt we're much different and the fact that we're talking about bringing someone in suggests it's seen as an improvement.

PS if they don't have a separate menu item for coaches they'll have a coaches tab within the team page
Ok thanks, have just had another look and whilst I agree it's a bit grey on what each coach does the fact remains the average of the other clubs is a tick over 7 and we have 10, just makes me wonder if we need to add more.

Maybe it just comes down to discussion on quality against quantity but as we've retained all then that discussion seems to be closed. Just looks too many to me.

Edit: reminds me a bit of the old saying about too many cooks,,,,

Geelong have removed Steven King from their coaches on their website so either he has the West Coast job or he is on the move

From Reddit:

King was never on the cats website to begin with. this is what their website looked like back in May:

How embarrassing that a journalist read a theory posted on Bigfooty and then published it as though it was fact

What is also pertinent from that is you can’t trust club websites for coaching team information.

Another Redditor said that they've regularly found outdated information on their club's website - sometimes to the tune of 5-years out of date.

Get Steven King please Cook

Its very disappointing that is seems we will go into next year with the same line up of coaches
While I was looking forward to some change, particularly around the tactical side of things, I also don't have a problem with no change, as long as they have identified the areas of weakness and have a plan to address it.

One thing's for sure, we need to get better at team selection (dropping Hewett for no reason, then leaving him out for 3 games during a critical stretch, while not playing him in the VFL until the 3rd game).
We need to reward VFL form more regularly and slot players like Binns, Lord, Moir into the side while surrounded by senior bodies. Not as a last ditch effort when there are no soldiers left.
We also need to work on best selections as sub and taking the right person off (Kennedy the obvious, most recent example here, but there were others during the year), and playing guys who aren't 100% fit (Curnow one of a number of obvious examples).
