I know we're taking things one week at a time and it is going to be a huge effort to beat the Dees...
But.... if that happens, what is the ticket situation in Brisbane for a prelim? Do we have any look in at getting tickets or no shot?

It’s worth mentioning that I have friends who purchased tickets to the Brisbane v Port match the day before the game. Though I would expect a prelim featuring Carlton (focusing on our involvement, because that’s the nature of your question) would have a greater demand for tickets.

Richmond members were allocated 12,500 tickets at the Gabba in the 2019 Qualifying final and took them all. I would hope we would get close to the same. But being a prelim and I believe the Lions have a bigger membership base now it could be considerably less.

People mightn't have gotten their preferred seats, but plenty more people missed out so it's a bit off to be complaining I reckon. Sounds like it's going to be more Carlton supporters than Melbourne, and that's the main thing ain't it?

Those of us who got tickets are part of our first semi final since what, 2011? That's pretty *ing special. I'd sit in the light tower if I had to. I'd need a few harnesses though.

I got tickets on level 4. I was just so happy to get a ticket and couldn't care less where I am sitting.

Here's everything you need to know for our Member Event.

Location: Park Hyatt, 1 Parliament Square Off, Parliament Pl, Melbourne VIC 3002
Function time: 4:30-6:30pm. Check in from 4:15pm.

Function details:
Doors open at 4:30pm.
No entry ticket required, only your booking name for registration.
Roast beef roll and drink coupon collected at registration desk.
Food and drink coupon can be used anytime throughout the function.
Luke Sayers to address the room from approx 5:15pm.
Q&A with two players from the Carlton AFL squad.
Past-player panel from approx 5:45pm.
Formalities conclude at approx 6:15pm with a cash bar available until 6:30pm.
Function will conclude at 6:30pm providing sufficient time for attendees to get to the MCG - approximately a 15-minute walk from the Park Hyatt. The game will commence at 7:50pm.

I have one ticket available that has come via the Carlton Members Event, it's for M36 Row H Seat 16, a Category 3 Seat on Level 1.
I have been able to get a Category 1 seat via an interstate member who could not make it over so I am using that and selling this one.

Id say no but who knows, id find it very strange to go to Optus stadium to play a WA team and get half the gate.
