Okay, so Cripps has used a sprint coach over summer and everyone can see the improvement, hopefully the club gets this sprint coach in during the pre season to work with the whole side or is that just wishful thinking?

It's interesting, i watched gettable yesterday and they went through the potential high picks in the next draft and I reckon there's a change coming, particularly through the middle.

Pretty much all the hopefuls were leaner (yes obvious because they're still kids but...) faster with good foot skills in particular.

With afl pushing for faster more flow on games for some time now and off the back of that the need for runners and an emphasis on speed I think we'll start to see a bit of a move away from bigger slower bulls and toward more pacy skilled midfielders (ie your Daicos types).

Carlton need to ensure they have a more balanced mix of grunt/first possession vs pace/kicking skills in the middle going forward.
