Anyway, irrespective of where he ends up, he will be either a Blue or a Magpie.
With Carlton set to land Warnock for pick 24 (Freo will accept this because of fear they lose him for nothing, plus at the end of the day its good business to accept 24 rather than set the club back 5 years) they seem thin on a suitable trade for ROK.
Pick 6 will NOT be traded, particularly for ROK and as such Collingwood too have ruled out their first rounder or Didak for that matter.
Without the bias, Collingwood are in a great position to secure ROK, provided they want him. If they want him, they will offer him 600K over 4 years, considering Didak is the clubs highest paid player on 400K, so the cap space is enormous and therefore there is plenty of play-money for Collingwood to work with.
Also, they will have a second round pick up their sleeve which the Blues most likely won't have.
Having said that anything can happen but if the Pies really want him they will get him over the line.
Time will tell.

Problem with the Warnock trade revolves around the money Carlton are apparently throwing at him.
Obviously this isn't necessarily the case, but Fremantle will most likely view the big $$ as an indication that Carlton are very, very keen. And very, very keen means that they can (try and) milk Warnock for more than 24.
I'm expecting a hold-out in both the O'Keefe and Warnock trades for this reason - don't hold me to it, but there's a tendency for it to happen once big dollars get bandied about.
Seems about right. Except that means we only have 2 selections in the national draft. Dunno what Ratts would think of that.
EDIT: by giving 28 to freo, that means we'd only have 1 national draft selection. Is that even legal?
Forget about them Guus. All these clowns seem to think every single one of our first, second and third year players are already on deals worth 400k a year
Nothing stupid about it, Carlton have been doing it their entire history, well rorting that is, caps havent been around for that long!
I wouldnt give a 'rats tossbag'(love that term) if I was a carlton supporter and it was happening, in fact Id be rapt, bite, kick, scratch, whatever it takes I reckon...

They are our highest paid players, the rest are all kids and theres a few earning around 300k.
Doesnt seem that unrealistic that we have room in our cap.

Unless your club has an elixir to go with your clown car, your young'uns will age and demand more money.
Whilst Fev's money will decrease there will be a considerable increase from 20 year olds becoming 23/24 whilst Judd and/or O'Keefe and/or Warnock will probably stay quite high. The questions are valid - albeit slightly facetious.

We have 2 superstars on big wages (judd and fev) with a lot of youngsters. We(swann and icke) have already stated that we have $600k to spend and that is without delisting or trading anyone. So what is the damn problem. Carlton makes an offer to anyone and it is automatically a salary cap issue. Grow up.

Good luck to em I reckon, not as if they get cheated flags taken away, they get to stock up on #1 picks 3 years in a row and don't have to pay em because they're green ambassadors for criminal pratts shindigs.
Win a couple of flags between now and 2012, get caught cheating too late again, load up on draft picks, be in contention again around 2019. Way to go Blose!

However, whilst I agree with your logic in that Warnock is Carlton's main priority and therefore they most likely won't have a second round pick making it increasingly unlikely that ROK can get to Carlton with a 3rd (pick 6 off limits) it isn't totally out of the question. Stranger things have happened.
Which is why I believe if Collingwood want ROK they've just about got him. Again, it's a case of whether the hierarchy at the Lexus Centre really want him.

Carlton don't have 1st or 2nd pick in the pre season draft like in the Nick Stevens pre- season draft
Collingwood don't need a Okeefe ,well we all could use a champion footballer like him but if i was Collingwood i go for Kerr , your need is bigger in the middle before mid size fowards especially if you keep Didak..
