Yes very true, he absolutely butchered the ball most times he got it.

Why don't you just accept that your team played the better football & deserved to win? I think this whole tanking rubbish has become quite monotonous. Those who discuss it are only encouraging The Hun & that other paper that people mostly read for the classified ads, to continue printing the rubbish.

Lucas had one of his worst matches for years and Essendon were a player down, the "we played like crap" argument doesn't come into it sorry champ

I've seen us play well the last couple of weeks, today we played like crap.

We didn't deserve to win today.

Essendon played better today, they deserved to win. They were constantly first to the ball and wanted it more, Hille's domination in the ruck certainly helped.

But if you think you beat a side today that was playing with intensity anything close to what was seen the past few weeks then you are kidding yourself. It was obvious from the warm up today that Carlton weren't on their game.

It would be ridiculous to suggest that the head clash with Lloyd of which he came off second best didn't hinder Judd today, so sorry I'm not going to put it down solely to Welsh.

Today was certainly a reality check for Carlton, they now know they can't get ahead of themselves and start believing their own hype. It doesn't mean that we aren't on the improve and it doesn't mean that our future is bleak.
