Doesn't mean they were effected exactly the same. Judd clearly struggled after that. I could see that, but Welsh done exactly what his job required also. It was a combination of both.

hey hey hey, middle ground isn't allowed here you either have to be overly defensive about why you lost or overly aggressive as to why you won

Essendon has had several reality checks. Geelong by 99 points, Swans by 91, Hawthorn by 51 and could hardly trouble the scorers against the Doggies in the last quarter.

No, losses like that were to be expected with this team. Only a handful of unrealistic supporters pumped up our tyres too much. Most realistic supporters stated at the start of the year that we would cop some floggings, but also win some unexpected games.

get the feeling this win is going to do more damage to Essendon than good in the long term.

With Grandpa Fletcher at FB, and old men Lloyd and Lucas up forward, the rest of the list is very poor.

Melbourne, Fremantle & West Coast to make best use of the last good draft.

Didn't you just post that rubbish on another, deleted thread.
Were Fletch, Lloyd and Lucas our best three players today? Mr Unlisted so nobody gives a toss what you're opinion is really.

Actually you dimwit, Judd got concussed in a head clash with Lloyd, that's what took him off his game. But you would know everything that happened wouldn't you?

Ahahaha, it appears that is almost a fortnightly custom to make excuses for Judd's performances.

Pretty much undid their win over Collingwood. It's like breaking someones serve in tennis, only to lose your own.

I think that's a fair analogy & to take it a step further, I think we will probably break service 2 or 3 more times this season, only to give it back each time & ultimately end up not holding serve often enough to challenge for the 8.

Walker? Unfair on the bloke when he injures his shoulder again and is out for most of the season.

Carrazzo and Cloke are serviceable - they are handy options. I would like to see Russell play the remainder of the season before making a final judgement with him. Sadly I don't think Sentanta is up to it (except vs Cloke, hehe), and Saddington hasn't even played this year.
sorr thawn i should of actually mentioned, i wasnt going on just todays game but more on carltons list.
the reason i have mentioned walker & saddington is because i dont rate those players saddo isnt afl standard & walker has been in the system 5 years & isnt a player that carlton need (better off tradeing him for a pick or a need while he still may have some currency )
carltons needs are chf ,chb & a medium foward like n.brown okeef , medhurst.

anyway hope its a good game this week guys.
