Coach says Andy Collins to the half-back line in 2012. I like it a lot. One thing that stands out when you watch Richmond players play, apart from their terrible skills, is that they have zero-defensive game mostly due to their diabolically bad/borderline negligent player development practises. So putting Collins through a "half back apprenticeship" might be a good thing. First up he has a clear role, and can focus on developing his defensive skills and ironing out other deficiencies. Our defensive group is excellent, and he'll get a heap of support and guidance down there. He'll get a better understanding of the gameplan as well. Will be excellent for his de-Richmonization program, which is proving to be a challenge.
