Bill want work for a micromanager

That's what I said. Others saying Tepper would step back with someone like Bill's resume.

I don't see it working. Much like another person mentioned Jim Harbaugh, Bill wouldn't put up with Tepper's nonsense. Not sure Bill would want Young either, he's never been a fan of shorter QBs.

Regardless of all that, how could you possibly employ Bills given how he's handled Mac Jones over the past three years and with his drafting record? He needs to go to a team with talent on the roster already like the Chargers.

It would be nothing more than a sugar hit, a nice headline story for Tepper to pump his deflated ego back up over. Bill would be coming here for money, the wrong reasons. Better off hiring some position coach or unknown who is thirsty for the opportunity.

Panthers need an offensive-minded Belichick type, someone who will develop Young into a long-term franchise QB. And that HC can then hire a DC to run that side of it. Like how the Dolphins are set up now.

If you hire Belichick, the D would be tops but Bill also struggles having an OC to run things and develop a QB. He lucked into Brady but they developed no other QB.

You would have thought he'd picked up some good practices being a part of the Steelers ownership group, prior to buying the Panthers. I'm surprised he's become one of the poorer owners in the league given his background.

Dont think its matters, Jimmy Haslem came from the Steelers and hes ****ing terrible too.

Here come the leaks from the ex coaches....

There's little doubt that the Carolina Panthers are a mess this season. They bring a 1-10 record into their Week 13 road game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it seems unlikely that the team will win more than one more game the rest of the season. The most obvious issue has been the consistent struggles of rookie quarterback Bryce Young this season. The Panthers paid a king's ransom to move up in draft so they could select him, while the Houston Texans are thriving with No. 2 selection C.J. Stroud at quarterback. Stroud has been remarkable for the Texans while Young has often looked lost for the Panthers. Carolina owner David Tepper has had a difficult time accepting his team's fate, and head coach Frank Reich was fired after the owner saw his team's multiple failures. In the early part of the season, there was debate among the Carolina coaches and the owner about Young's status as the team's QB1, the coaches wanted to bench Young for the veteran Andy Dalton after he performed well against the Seattle Seahawks on the road, the thought that Young needed more coaching. However, the move was not made and Young has continued to fall short.

......makes sense, the offense looked the best it has all year when Dalton started.

Mike Evans always murders us.

At least Mingo showed some things yesterday.

Thomas Brown gets the run game going finally then asks Bryce to throw it twice on 3rd and 1. What an idiotic way to go down.

All the years I asked us to tank and we didnt it, now it seems we are going out of our way to tank this year without our own pick. **** this team.

Makes sense why Campen and Fitterer still have a job currently, both Tepper brown noses and yes men, Campen happy to throw Reich, McCown and Staley under the bus for the teams offensive struggles, saying the QB and coaching of him is the issue. Not the OLine.. Everyone happy to point fingers to save themselves.

Toxic culture. The place is ****ed.

Heard rumours it was Tepper who suggested we should run a 3-4 defense to Ron Rivera and thats why hes hired coaches who run a 3-4 defense coz thats what they do with Pittsburgh.

This might be a bit tin foil hat but hear me out, I wonder if it has anything to do with franchise tags being cheaper for OLB's than DE's?.... think about it.... the Panthers have to pay Burns less to franchise him in this scheme...I remember Bud Dupree being pissed with the Steelers for franchising him under a LBer coz it cost him ~6m ....maybe this was Tepper's plan all along re: Burns and he cant wait to use it to get a "bargain"

I could see it, Tepper is all about money, this would be the type of move he thinks is big brain and gives him an advantage over other teams. Meanwhile in reality players get pissed off and it demotivates them.

I am not a huge fan of 3-4 defense always felt it was easier to run with one less DL on field for a middle linebacker more holes to run thru. Plus now i know it makes 3-4 pass rushers get paid alot less i really hate it.

Feel its such a tepper move to piss off a franchise cornerstone in Burns to save a few extras dollars to a billionaire. . Pass rushers dont grow on trees wouldn't surprise me if demands trade in offseason once tagged at lower rate.

Imagine losing by more than 22 points when the Panthers rush for 207 yards, the Saints have 210 yards of total offense and the Panthers run over 20 more plays than the Saints.

Unbelievable.

Not to give the play calling a pass coz it was dreadful again, but Bryce was ****ing awful. Particularly when throwing deep as he has been all season. Twice he had Mingo deep and over throws him (one for a walk in TD). Too many times he throw the ball out of play when his WRs beat someone down the sideline.

Would be shocked if he can turn his career around at this point. Confidence is gone, so many bad habits creeping into his game (due to pressure on the back of poor play calling and play designs). We should have benched him and started Dalton ages ago to save him from himself.

This is easily the worst season in Panthers history as a fan, at least at the end of the 2010 Jimmy Clausen season you had a #1 pick to turn your frown upside down.

This feels absolutely hopeless with no end in sight.

At least you’re providing a gift to a good cause.
