I don't really like posting these sorts of threads but I'm sick of watching Carrazzo slow down and attack the ball at half pace when there are other players involved. He's bloody soft and has a weak attack on the footy. When things come contested he's no good and shouldn't play on the ball if he plays like this. For every one who bagged Stevens out earlier for being soft this player is far far worse for a bloke who is ment to be an older senior body. No wonder Geelong got rid of him...

His spot is on notice IMO until someone better comes along.

Sick of these threads, every week 'player X' is soft all because somebody noticed a contest they didn't go hard enough at.

At some point we need to stop killing our own!!!

Agree that the title is embarrassing to the OP but there is nothing wrong with discussing a player in more reverent terminoloy

He's a good reader of the play and is more of a poise player than a blaze away player. He knows how to buy himself time and doesn't over commit to a contest.

I have always thought that too ODN but am starting to wonder whether he prefers playing on the outside more

Maybe the broken arm thing is the issue but he slows down when he meets the ball if opposition players are involved in the contest. I'm just sick of seeing him attack the ball at half pace and slowing down when he meets it.
I think he's a fairly good player, but he could be a better player and this is a deficiency of his game.

Carrots might have a few faults with his game, but being soft isn't one of them ...

He is an pivotal part of our best 22 ...

He is highly rated by the MC, just look at all his high B and F placings in recent years.

He won't get a game in a top 4 side and he's in our best 22. Proves that our lineup is pretty thin,

Total BS, he would get a game is every other 15 clubs.

I can remember 3-4 games this year after half time his change of position into the midfield has resulted us winning games, his combination with the liks of Gibbs and Murph in the rotations is vital to us.

To many people are still on his back from when he first started playing and his disposal was poor, the fact is he has cleaned that part of his game up and he is now a very good player for us down back or in the middle.

all i ask is that he stops this slowing down business when he attacks the ball when an opposition player is near by. He's inconsistant in this area, the Roos game was a bad one by him in this area.

Well its the second "Roast" thread you raised on the same day...same old diatribe

Actually a few of our players do this. I can't stand it. That's one of the reasons Kreuzer is one of my favourites. Even at 18yo that boy never took half steps or shirked a contest.

Unbelievable the rubbish from a couple of OP's. Some simply know nothing about the game.
