Just had a Google, apparently it has almost wrapped! That surprised me. Apparently that trailer is legit. Coming out in 2024 but not sure if early or late in the year. Very happy to hear.

Yes I just checked and very pleasantly surprised, Gilroy has said August 2024 is the planned release.

Better to not rush it and have a high quality product, than rush it and botch it.

Suspect the biggest reason is that Skeleton Crew was planned to come out this year but has been pushed back to 2024. With that, then the Acolyte, they simply didn't want to push out three Star Wars shows in one year. It did also have some delays because of the strikes.

Will probably come out first in 2025, with Mandalorian season 4 to follow.
