Up and about tonight are we?? You blokes must have returned to the winners list!

Lol the hypocrisy! How did Dangerfield go? Backed up his BOG?

And Geelong have returned to the losers list.

How ironic.

Okay, I know it's not irony but it always sounds good when you say "how ironic".

The car looks not bad but the towbar is bent like crazy. Since towbars are attached to the chassis we're gonna have to wait and see what the assessors say... Wouldn't be surprised if they say $15k. Stephs old car got rear ended a few years ago and the motors in the drivers seat alone were $1800!
H2F $13.5k repairs.. Pretty close.

Holy cow man but I keep coming back to the fact that you are all safe which is what is important.

We were told 4 days for our car to come back repaired.

A week later we are bowing being told another two weeks. Wtf?
Spewing.
God i hope delays don't happen to us. Hire car is only covered for 2 weeks... But like you say, everyone's safe.

My brother just had repairs on the mondeo which took around 7 to 8 weeks. It was ok though cause the loan car was an upgrade on his. Ha!

Haha your brother drives a Mondeo...

I finally have something to tease him about, thanks so much mate.

We didn't take up the option in the policy for a hire car to save some money. Stupid me.

Don't bag it mate. Euro diesels are awesome cars, 1000 kms from a tank only partially highway driving. Falcon & Commodore deserve to die in comparison.

If only the **** knuckle Australian government would legislate against the high sulphor content in our diesel...

Hey, I've got a Mondeo Wagon (Turbo Diesel, the Zetec model), it's a hell of a lot better than the Commodore I had years ago. Get 950+kms' out of the tank with mostly town + some highway driving. (And this is Tassie, not like it's long straight roads) Been a lot more reliable and economical than the Holdens, Mitsubishi's, Nissans, Toyotas that I've had!

Still up and about?

haha; not sure why I got a notification for this one; but I'll tell you openly that was a massive reality check for Geelong, they were deplorable today.
We should make the finals, which would, on the surface, be an improvement on last year, but we will be lucky to win a final.

I wouldn't fret too much if I were you
There doesn't seem to be any stand-out side this season, it's as wide open as it has ever been
GWS probably the form side atm, although I don't think they are ready to win finals at the G

Cats are still as well placed and likely as anyone but there's been some over confident posting by a group on the main board which will see me enjoy this result at least :)

fair enough.

personally I think North are the team to beat; not just due to their ladder position, but whenever I've watched them this year they just look really well drilled.
Pass mark for Geelong this year is winning a bloody final, imo - anything less than this is a fail for mine.

enjoy our misery today folks! ;)

I think even if NM win the flag I'll still take some convincing about them.

I just don't see a Premiership team.

I kinda agree; on paper they don't look like much at all.
But they are quite even in their performance, and seem very well drilled.
Of the teams I have watched this year, they have impressed me the most, which has definitely surprised me.

Only reason there doesn't appear to be a stand out side is because the Hawks are not playing great football like the past few years, rest of the comp is pretty much the way it has been which is why the quality of the games seems so poor, we have been spoiled by the Hawks!

Exactly!! This is what I've been saying for a few weeks now. It's ours to lose, I don't buy the fact that others are closing the gap, it's more about us getting to play our best!! The only question mark Imo is the mental toll over the Roughy illness but other than that, I think we will be very hard to beat once we get going.

We lost Hale, Lake, Hodge, Roughy - think about the talent there, also Suckling & Schoenmaker. We have replaced them with Brand, Sciliy, Hartung,Ceglar and Langford so it will take some time to get up to speed.

Which is exactly why we are back in the pack - hence no stand-out side
We are 8 goals a week worse off than the last few years - 4 goals down in attack and conceding 4 goals more in defence
Season is anyone's atm
