1. PLACE DU CARROUSEL - Gets in reasonably with 54 and looks a WFA type coming through which is what you want.
2. SAINT GEORGE - In on the minimum and needs to pass the ballot still but hopefully wins on the weekend to take care of that.
3. ADELIADE RIVER - Really good run in the Chelmsford over a trip way too short. In really well on his Euro form with 53.
4. QUE TEMPESTA - Probably going to look really well in with 53 if he keeps running well in races here around Saint George. Mile and a half really in his sweet spot so should keep getting better.
5. SAYEDATY SEDATY - Might be pushing it to get a run but in really light and his Derby run was very good and even his Gordon Stakes run doesn't read terrible running 3rd to Jan Brueghel and Bellum Justum who have both since won well. Travelled well in that race but just looked out stayed at the end.
6. ROYAL SUPREMECY - Another reasonable 3yo getting in light but will be a push to get in a presume.
7. WARMONGER - Good off season 2400m form and returned with a nice run at WFA but way too short now for me to back.
8. COCO SUN - Brings in the Warmonger form so if I like one probably throw the other in at this stage. First up run was a a pass over a trip far too short and awfully weighted/
9. WARP SPEED - Will likely find the 2400m too short but has more class than most and will be strong through the line.
10. FAWKNER PARK - Too much weight but easier to handle that at Caulfield than Flemington so has to squeeze into the bottom of the top 10.

Buckaroo likely going to go around favourite but I still have big doubts on him running out 2400m. Even over the 2000m today he had that race shot to bits at the 200m and VS came back underneath him.

Eliyass also a 2000m horse who will be suspect the last furlong.

All the ones with 2400m form shit the bed today though so who the **** knows. Likely just going to be on Sayedaty watch

Young Werther was good. Zardozi and Land Legend also.

If we get a dry track I could see the old boy Vow and Declare being competitive.

Eliyass is the one I like but agree suspect at the distance. If he draws will get an energy saving run. Had to be used up from a wide draw in the Turnbull and drops 3.5 in the cup.an

Can see Coco Sun running well in a weak Caulfield Stakes and going around a lot shorter

Would find worse $201/$51 chances than Gear Up I reckon

Going over the weekends races and I think Zardozi is going to be my pick of the locals. Run of the race in the Metrop after getting caught 3WNC for the first half and then copping a bump on the bend and will meet Land Legend at least 2kg better off for that run.

Think she will close the gap on the likes of Eliyass over 2400m from when they met in the Kingston Town and meets him 2kg better off for that day anyway. That Sydney form seems to be holding up a lot better than the Melbourne form too.

Eliyass projects like it will run 2400m but would much prefer to have actual proof before the biggest race of its career.

Buckaroo looked like he would run 2400m out here too before he folded up the last 100m in the Tancred against handicappers
