Bet he tricked them when they arrived in Perth and set up a fake Amazing Race marker with a card that said '"Your task is to boff the first AFL player you see. Both team members must complete the task befoe advancing to the pitstop". Of course you'd want to make sure neither of the other teams got there first, not that there's anything wrong with that.

But yes, respect.

Good thing the farmers didn't come across that marker

So 9.10pm to 11.05pm?

I hope not.. I want to see Footy Classified this week for obvious reasons.

Yes, you and I may feel that way, but apparently we don't have a lot of company...

Yeah I know- but who cares, they're making another season so everything is good. :thumbsu:

Just caught up on the last two episodes earlier today. Channel Seven have done well with this series, they haven't diverted too much from the American version and it has come up a treat.

Any of the three teams left winning would be good but hoping Sam and Renae win. :thumbsu:

Their decision to finish the series in the same week as Masterchef was a shocker, it must be said. TAR has performed well on a tough night but having to bump your finale to 9pm to avoid MC's overrun is way short of ideal.
Forget MasterChef. Kosi is the special guest on One Week at a Time!

Still annoyed it is on later - if it finishes before 10:30pm that will be an achievement. I am pumped for the show before it but really, forget Masterchef, people will be nodding off before the finish.

Lets just hope that whatever happens, that a taxi driver doesn't cost a team.

Geelong won't get a mention.

It'd all be about how shit Melbourne were.

I realise that, still want to see it.

I'm annoyed too.. and I find out the Geelong match has been moved earlier too. Just leave things where they are FFS. Bloody hell...

Anyway, yeah I dont mind who wins tonight- as long as there are some really good (and difficult) challenges. They are on the last leg after all..

The usual pattern with the finals in the US series is that you get two teams fighting it out with the other team dropping way behind due to bad luck with flights, taxis etc.

Would be good if it was a genuinely close 3 way fight right until the end. No doubt they will try to edit it to make it seem close even if it isn't.

Wow, what a horrible way to finish a great season. This would have to be the worst possible challenge to have at this stage. Two challenges based totally on luck of the draw. This ferris wheel challenge is a joke. Teams can lose six hours on a fluke. Absolutely shit way to finish!

Really hope this doesn't cost anyone a flight.

Edit- 3 challenges involving nothing more than chance :-(

Disgraceful way to end a series. 2 challenges that require absolute luck and no skill. For a series that has been so well produced, they have let themselves down massively with this finish.

A finish to TAR needs to be about skill, effort, knowledge and a small amount of luck. With this finish, those first 3 I listed are only minor skills required. There is too much focus on luck in this leg.

I don't even care who wins. But it could have happened that a team arrived first at the Singapore ferris wheel and left hours after another team had come and gone. That just does not equal fairness.

These flags are freaking hard, but c'mon, not knowing countries like China and Sri Lanka?????
The only hard part is the Indonesia/Poland but you could just switch them over if you got every other one right. Everyone should know Australia, China, Vietnam, Singapore, Israel, Netherlands, Czech Republic, South Africa.

I can't believe how much they have struggled with the flags.

Anyone that has watched a decent amount of sport would get that in a flash.

EDIT: Fitting winners at least. Was worried that the local knowledge would make the difference. The geography professor needed a sub, must have been there for ages.

Amazingly Sam has everything but South Africa wrong, then a second later it's all correct....???????????

It's a load of shit with them knowing everything in Perth as well. Massive advantage. Should have ended it somewhere like Alice Springs.

They just edited it too make it look like it was right after, in reality there was probably ages between the two moments. They just wanted to make the ending look close, every TAR series does it.

If Luke knew his flags, they'd still have won it even with their shit luck.

Apart from Indonesia/Poland similarity, they aren't that tough.
