Good to hear, can't go wrong fielding a young side, if it takes a few beltings to gain some experience so be it. Sometimes thats the only option, been through that a couple of times myself and have found it rewarding when it leads to good resultsNo for both. The Barham boys will win at some stage, they've been belted twice but the feeling around the club is still very positive. The boys are proud and have been fielding a young and inexperienced team with loads of talent and the potential to excite. There is definitely not a defeatist attitude. Rhetoric aside, I reckon they'll be right simply because they don't seem to be running through the motions...every goal kicked will strengthen their resolve. Expect a spirited fight coz i know most of the fellas and none of them will just roll over.
See the interleague squad has been announced in the Northern Times and has the usual suspects. Did I see correctly that Cal Beasy to coach? If so that is unusual to have a playing coach in these games. Also Chris Gibson's name was absent or was an oversight by myself. What are everyone's thoughts on the squad?
Lokking to see if you made the squad roota?I had heard that Cal took the job on as coach when it was thought that he was going to be sidelined for the season with the knee injury. Not sure if that is right but it was what I had heard.
Can someone post the squad. I don't get copies of the local rags down here

went and watched tyntynder Vs Cohuna game on the weekend and the first 5 minutes looked like the dogs of the late 90's against the kangas slamming on the first 3 goals without the kangas touching the ball. However after that cohuna took over in general play with a dew dogs players appearing lame, unfit and not interested in being out there. Carroll is a shadow of the player he was and must be carrying an injury, bannam lack of a second effort and appeared overweight, and apart from o'toole who was a dominant force and pound no tyntynder players looked dangerous with the ball in their hands.
Just a query on why all teams break off into their groups at the breaks, wondering past their wasnt a great deal of tactical talk occuring in both camps at the weekend, is it just a case of teams copying afl teams
Yer my mistake did have a blistering start, it is a long way from the boundary to centre at the cohuna rec reserve, but tyntynder were disapointing after their startI heard O'Toole done a hamstring in the first quarter and didn't take any part in the game after that....I must have heard wrong??

From the Kangas' point of view, Zerafa injured before half time and did not take part in the rest of the game, same with Hamish Easton. Rick Easton unavailable due to injury and Matt Trigg also unavailable.went and watched tyntynder Vs Cohuna game on the weekend and the first 5 minutes looked like the dogs of the late 90's against the kangas slamming on the first 3 goals without the kangas touching the ball. Hello,
Any Lalberteers able to fill me in on how Ricky "Strachany" Thompson is going at the Eagles nest this year?
Played up in Darwin over summer.
Thanks in advance
