Just curious about some of the matchups for Sunday's game, whoever matches up on Keegan Dingo will have a big role. Who is likely to play on him?- young lach foott lacks meat but certainly has a big heart- is he capable?

Should be a great match! Not sure about your idea of the match up though Bomber? He may have the ticker but no where near the same talent as Dingo... Just a good old fashioned battler!!

Bomber1, that is a very good point, a definant match winner there for the roos, as he gives a lot of drive from half back and can float forward as well. Foott will need to be primed to shut down Dingo, as he has been a little quiet in recent weeks, and needs a solid performnce to hold is place in the starting 22.

yeh roos out and u must give credit were credit is due!
they played the best quater of footy i have seen! lead by kruger, McMahon and davis! the swans who were 25 points down came out after half time and turned it on! it was amazing to watch!

well done! in my opinion grant ford should do what he does best and that dominate instaed of what he did 2 day which was look for free kicks or give them away! and stroobants was very servicable! both will play agaisnt toooly!

who knos could be kerang v swanhill in every footy grade????:eek:

Word has it down my way the very short umpire may have shown his colors in that game ,maybe our umpires can come up and give cmfl a level playing field .Dont like his chances on another appearance or goodnight Kerang ........

fair point u have there avon, obviously a balranald man, and yes there was many contencious decisions...
ones that caught my eyes was not only the ones that were awarded to swanhiil but the ones that were not paid to the roos! 4 times in a row gavin loydy was in a marking contest and was crashed into his back and all times the umpire was on the spot, they were all clear free kicks! some times it just makes u wonder

lets not get blame the umpires now boys, there where many deicison that where borderline, and balranald had there fair share of ones they got away with and the same goes for swan hill.. but the fact of the matter was that when the game was in the balance balranald cracked under pressure.... you can blame the umpires and say this and that but what about the efforts of the swannies, to come back and win like they did is a credit to the lads... who will curb the likes of kruger, holt, foott, and davis this week....

oh dont get me wrong tw swans were outstanding.. just saying the umpiring was not the bet for a cut throat final! you could also throw McMahon in theat group because him and davis were the catillists in getting the ball out of the middle in the second half!

Saddened to hear of the recent passing of Central Murray/Murray League legend - Barry Kelly - a great Lalbert personality an ex North Melbourne player.

A universally liked fella as evidenced by the large crowd at his funeral on Saturday.

Ice needs op on knee had tried to get up for finals by training the last 2 weeks but was still restricted he also had not played for 6 to 8 weeks cant blame him for trying but until he has the op he wont be the same player he was. Great fellow and super player when fit but suppose the match committie must have wanted to take 22 fit players in

It has been a while and it is great to be back. Just having a look on this threads last 4 or 5 pages and there is not one reference the Saints getting blown out of the water last week at Gunbower?
Awesome display after Qtr time.
 
Kerang used the ball very well on saturday..Kiel Robertson and Bryden Morrison carried the it and made the Tooleybuc/Manang midfielders look a litte slow. Tooleybuc/Manang never really threatened to take the game off them. Kiel robertson did do his shoulder early in the second half, will be interesting to see if he plays in the gf....big loss if he doesnt come up.

I have heard he will require a pin? any truth in this? Gillingham to come in to take his place you would imagine from the pio's.
