Now can we have Japan, China and Malaysia live? :D

Maybe a lot of Twightlight games on Sun next year start at 5.00 might help. Lets face , how many races on Sun are shown live, at worst we are talking more Sat races and earlier starts to braodcast on Sun .
Maybe 2 Races on Sat and 1 Race on Sunday, all finished by 2.00 pm

I have liked 10's coverage but if it means more money then swaping makes sense. The interview a couple of weeks ago on RPM Perkins, Rodgers and Jones every second word was about costs. Id like to see more races and the only way that going to happen is more TV money

How long is the contract for?

Noooooooooo!!!!!!!!! If 7 are going to have the Friday and Sunday coverage of the AFL, motorsport fans are screwed and V8 Supercars is screwed. 7 must have put foward a better offer, unless channel 10 didnt make an offer which i doubt because the sport is one of the most popular in the country. I cant see 7 winning the rights if they are going to show it late at night. I think C10 will take over 9's role as the main football broadcaster and 7 will take 10's role.

It's going to have no positive effect on Champ Cars.Aren't most of them run at the early hours on monday morning Australian time ?

If it means they start replaying the Champ Car races in the afternoon on the weekend like they used to before they got the V8's & F1 then that will be good for the profile of the series here in Australia.

They replayed the Champ car races on the following Sat afternoon while they had the V8's, it was after they got the AFL when they stopped showing the replays.

I just hope this doesnt mean a return of Doug Mulray to the commentary box for Bathurst:(

It's good cause the Supercabs are the WWE of motorsport and if it wasn't for AVESCOn's razzamatazz, and spin, people would realize it.

Plus at least when Seven ran it, every car at Bathurst got some TV time. How often do you see anything other than the top 3-4 on Channel 10? Not often. (And dont get me started on the farce that is Bathurst these days)

I love seven for some reason. I always like to see them do well and i am sure that this will be a success for them. However its a real blow for racing fans i think. With the footy i just dont see how seven can really show the same dedication and passion for it that channel 10 has over the years. They have just done an AMAZING job with it and they are the home of motorsport. It should have stayed on channel 10 but we should at least give 7 a chance, i still dont see how it can be improved on seven.

Onya Nozzer!! the V8 Taxicars are Ok but they're not the be all and end all of touring car racing(still nothing better than the btcc at its mid-90's peak for me and those dtm thingies are weapons!!)

DTM? Yes please. Lots better racing for mine.

But there'll be no cars in that series at the rate it's going with costs out of control and manufactuers not allowing privateer entries to buy cars off them, but I digress.
