Ch7 Live Ladder

Channel 7 coverage is extremely dumbed-down. I couldn't stand it on Thursday night.
I find it mildly amusing in games involving Hawthorn.
When Hawks are in front, it's rarely used, if at all, yet as soon as the opposition hit the front (or even draw level as per Thursday) it gets flashed up on screen and spoken about at length.
What people need to realise is that the commentator is not there for fans who are watching the game, it's aimed at those that don't follow football, and are only watching for entertainment.
I've recently taken to watching games with the sound off again, and it's increased my enjoyment of neutral games tenfold.

I'd like the "live ladder" more if they simply showed a "live" percentage for the two teams, rather than prematurely adding on the 4 premiership points midway through the 1st quarter.

All the calls of Hawthorn being "2 games clear at the top of the ladder" on Thursday night, when the rest of the league still had to play. Was a completely meaningless statement.

The live ladder is still the most annoying part of Seven's coverage.
When Sydney won on Friday night Bruce exclaimed "and Sydney are in the eight"

Hang on! I'm a Richmond Fan! We've been on top of the ladder the last 3 years! (Ok - after the first game in Rd 1, but I'll take it).
