Yeah he will for 3 firsts

Freo will pick up Kossie for 2 firsts and our forward line will be pure a grade

Kossie Tracey Bolton
Sturt Amiss Jackson

Rotating Fredrick
Warner isn't worth more than a Heavily CONTRACTED shai Bolton on 1.2 million a season .

What was that trade 10 + 11 + 18 for Bolton + 14 + f3 (37)

Our first will be a top 5 pick. Top 3-4 will be close in value by itself .

Not sure if serious.

Shia bolton on 1.2 million a year isn’t a valuable contract

I believe the main issue for the Swans is, they will want a pick low enough to actually use at the draft.

One of their 2025 academy kids potentially gets bid on before the Hawks pick.

Your F1 (2026) might not be so attractive either, as the Swans U16 team smacked around every other academy side this year, and they might have a kid pretty high in that draft as well.

I really don't care about the swans academy situation.

Should we be hindered in negotiations because of academy situations?

That is a Sydney problem

Why? Shai Bolton is a gun and only 25 .

Kicks goals and runs through the midfield.

He is 100% worth 1.2million .

Perryman , Baker and peatling are on 900k a year .

The fact Bolton was contracted means freo were stuck paying overs .

Warner isn't contracted after next season

Loooooooooool
If warner is worth more than Bolton in picks you can't afford him as you dont even have the draft capital available

Remember future picks are worth less and future, future picks are worth even less

We have the Bolton trade of 10 + 11 + 18 for Bolton + 14 + f3 (37)

We have the Toronto trade of 12 + 19

We have rankin of effectively pick 5

And Jeremy Cameron of 3 late 1sts for Cameron + 2x 2nd rounders which equalled to pick 5 in draft points .

How is warner worth what you say ?

Because Freo will go all out to get him which will drive up the cost of draft picks that west coast will have pony up in order to get him

Freo will also offload players next year to open up enough space in the cap to make it worth it for him which will also push up west coasts offer.

If it was just went coast interested your opinion might be valid.

Freo have no cap space/picks to offer Warner unless Andy leaves(Hello Xmas day re-signing???)

They can offer the world to Sydney. If Chad isn't interested in Freo, it makes no difference. It sucks but that's the trading landscape of the AFL currently.

FYI I'm someone who doesn't really care if we get Warner or not. Happy for Freo to throw the sink at him and he goes there.

I have no idea why a clubs immediate draft concerns would impact negotiations that will likely be surrorunded by draft pick...

Herp.

How you know its 1.2 million a season?

Salaries are not published, and media make up numbers.

That’s a problem for the swans. It’s still the best offer by a country mile. Let’s not invent Sydney own problems that wce have to fix for them.

They don’t have to match bids for any players and take picks to draft.

You are guessing

Warner is currently undecided

A number of players will either retire ir move on at the end of the season. Freo may not have as much cap space buy they will have significant enough for West Coast to pony up big time. Plus west coast will need 2 million a year to keep Harley Reid. Enjoy

Its not west coasts concern what academy players Sydney have and where they will go come draft time.

Its not west coasts concern that you want a top 5 academy pick and a top 5 draft pick .

You are an entitled lot .

You need a pick before your academy pick ? You will have plenty of draft capital to try trade up .

It is Sydney that do have to accept the trade you realise?

The Swans don't usually drive a hard bargain, but they are going to ensure they receive picks they would be using.

Plus they would be trying to get fair value on a player who would be considered in the top 20 odd players in the league and isn't even 24 yet

It is WC's concern if they want a player from said team.

Dumb to suggest that the Swans needs and wants in regards to the draft won't be considered. Especially by the swans who I assume are a part of the trade here...

And who on earth is a top 5 academy prospect from the swans. First I have heard or seen that rating.

That's what his contract was apparently for the last years of his old contract. I got the info from the Richmond board.

I doubt he took a pay cut to move clubs .
Richmond board member or the BF board?

I'm not saying that it's not 1.2m but until you have a direct source its just a made up.

We have no idea if Richmond is paying some of his contract or if the contract was back loaded.

If the contract is back loaded and he extends it with Fremantle, then it might be less than 1.2m per year. But I'm just pulling it out of my cake hole.
