normal high number please, for starters, then when he gets a few runs on the board after the first season give him the choice of 4 or 35.

no %$^&ing special treatment !

and welcome to Port Adelaide, Chad :thumbsu:

We have a good group of young footballers, no doubt. 1 more year of shittness in the superdraft with a PP (hopefully #1 and #3) and we will be dominate force sometime in the next 5 years

Mum looks stoked. Anyone upload the footage of when he got drafted?

Cant believe we got him given all the talk of finishing bottom so we could get him.

I didnt think we would, until yesterday when I read TSW said it was a done deal, then I thought we might have a chance as TSW is absolutely spot on every time I've checked.

So is it too soon to request a transfer to the Magpies?

Sorry for my ignorance, i always knew this kid was the one Port were hoping for, but i have not paid much attension to the draft this year.

How does he rate compared to recent SA midfielders(Trengrove, Hartlett, Ebert)?

one thing that Chad has that most midfielders dont have is he can dominate a game from the midfield and in 10 minutes of football he can completely change the trend of the game. Exceptionally crisp hands, great vision in traffic, he can pull off the mirical kicks, tackles with passion. Excellent pace, the only thing he needs is to work on his endurance. He doesn't junk stat, no 35 possesion games that have no impact on the result of the game, if he gets over 25 we will win. He Should be able to play high forward next year.

They had the AFLs talent manager on 5AA at around 5pm. He said that Trengove was a very special unit and that he "had more runs on the board at this stage than Chad" but he also reiterated that he thought "Chad is definately top 3."
