hopefully Rodgers plays him. Is it common for City to do 2 year loans?
We've had a couple. Think this one was an 18 month job but he really looked a long way off when he arrived.

Wow, maybe I should just rename this thread the 'lolbrodge' topic, because that's all what it seems to be.

Anyway, here are the results for the first leg:

Fenerbache take the lead against Monaco. Newboys Rostov doing an admirable job against Aderlecht. Astana should be disappointed against their efforts against Celtic at home. Really should've done better.

Not much in surprise results in all honesty, pretty much what was expected. (Unless Qarabag drawing against Plzen rocks your boat.)

Irish side Dundalk beat BATE Borisov 3-1 on agg

Also means Dundalk are guaranteed EL GS now, great result for Irish football
There's not much difference now between Irish and Scottish league football. It's incredible how far Scottish football has fallen

Interesting that

Still plenty of lower league types (Championship/L1) that go to and from the SPL that I've heard of

Rarely hear of them in the Irish league though, just mainly Irish home growns or Conference level types

Be shocked if we don't get Roma.

And cue you guys getting knocked out by Rostov due to harsh conditions in Russia.

On the other hand, I just feel like we're guaranteed to get Atletico, you can've have a Leicester European adventure without Atletico.

Also, the results for the Third Qualifying Round:

A good comeback win for Young Boys (Seriously, Juve isn't much better either.) Rostov shock Anderlecht, Monaco taking it in a thriller, and Ajax held their nerve for the win. APOEL does what APOEL does, the Beer team shock Olympiacos, Razgard put Red Star in their plale (Yes! Don't have to deal with them!) Plzen knock out last year's surprise package Qarabag, and probably what has come to a major shock to most... Celtic win to put Astana (who were also a surprise package last season) out of the CL.

Oh, and Dundalk did the job against BATE, fantastic achievement that. It's totally going to be Celtic vs Dundalk, the occasion was built for this.

The Playoff Round draw will be published here tomorrow... unless the City boys beat me to the punch. We're finally getting close towards the stage where this topic can sustain itself without my assistance.

Here's hoping City and Porto bomb out... Right now. Won't happen though :(
Yep, hopefully one of them gets rolled by Roma and the other has a massive choke, can see Porto crashing out but not City

So we are 16th currently, but likely drop to 18th when Porto and City qualify

I'm surprised Shakhtar crashed out to Young Boys
