One thing that's been overlooked in the wash up of this tie has been the performance of both the keepers. Cech has been absolutely immense in both ties saving numerous shots with the peach being a finger-tipper on to the post from Messi.

On the other hand, Valdes was conceded virtually every time Chelsea has been near the penalty box. Couldn't keep out a scuffed effort from Drogba in the 1st leg and caught in no man's land from a delightful Ramires chip. Everytime he's been called on to do something, Valdes has been pretty much useless.

My god I feel for Ramires and Ivanovic. Ramires put in two unbelievable performances over the two legs. Asked to play as a winger, then as a right back he still scores one of the goals of the season and backs it up defensively.

welcome to the 2005 experience i had. although, i don't think chelsea will have the same fairytale ending with 4 players out of the final.

Finishing 3rd has become very important now because if Chelsea win it then 4th doesn't go UCL.
